we used to get loads in our kitchen, only real traps and poison seem to cut down numbers. We’ve just ripped out kitchen and found about 10-15 dead mice under kitchen cupboards spent ages sealing all the holes. in floorboards etc…

I enter quiet a few events, trying not to come last is as much a challenge as trying to win for some 🙂
I like the feel of events villages, collective group of people trying to do the same thing. Trade tents
camping, excuse to see other parts of the UK instead of just enjoying the lakes.

Also being able to go as fast as I can without worrying of stray dog walkers coming up the trail.

I am. It really annoys me why their technical support people have little or no technical knowledge. If they’re supporting a service they should know more than the customers they’re serving (generally). Thats not been my experience.

The telephone support for most companies is there to help non technical users if you’re an IT bod fix it yourself? If its a line issue than self test and go to them and ask for engineer when line test proves fault.

Otherwise give them a break… Or do you take you bike to get it fixed and start conversation with shop mechanic with: “well you want to do it like this…”

Have you got a date for the fibre install?, ask them to provide adsl service until openreach can install?

Did you have virgin fibre or adsl beforehand, as mentioned above Openreach is the hold up here, so if you cancel you’ll go to the back of their queue and unless your actually getting service from another comms provider that they actually provision themselves – Virgin Fibre etc… you’ll be stuck waiting for openreach whoever you use.

We’re having to wait until september to get fibre here, biut never thought we’d even be included… I’d be happy to just have the chance to get fibre right now….

Probably cheaper and easier for him to live there with security etc on short term rent, hotel will make sure they get the publicity and he may even be on a free or very reduced rate.

Rather than, rent or buy flat/house, have it made secure, have to get maid service, cleaners, personal shoppers, chef etc…

    Seems like a bargain

Ok I’ve just bought a petrol lawnmower and I’m storing plastic petrol can in my bike shed rather than green house as didn’t want the plastic to perish in sunlight. Slight smell of petrol each time i go in the shed, is this a ticking time bomb and going to blow up when I hit the light switch before setting off on a night ride.

I found out I was Dyslexic when I was at uni, was reading to girlfriend and again misread things and she suggested test, uni said they thought i was but couldn’t help without the full £200 test. Did this and got a PC from council, extra time in exams and money for books.

Was worth doing that then, now have been in work for nearly 20 years. None of the tests help you in professional life, only that you know that you have it in yourself. I find myself avoiding reports and written bids etc… which has not helped career progression, but can’t see how I can get help with those?

you can use any BB30 bottom bracket, but your cranks won’t work with shimano etc… so you have to use GXP type, but they’re made by other companies such as race face etc..

enve rims + hubs same weight as mavic crossmax
but enve rims are used by downhill racers, much wider than mavics
so would believe them to be much stronger for the same weight.

Still couldn’t spend £2000 on a set of wheels… but there’s always the lottery

have had a v50 2.0D SE for 6 years, bought 12 months old now has 130,000 miles, will keep until it dies. cam belt at 144k or 10 years, has been very reliable, 46 mpg whether you do 70 or 90.
solid as a rock, good at towing
Comfy, pop up booster seats great for kids and unplanned trips.
    very good stereo
still looks good compared to most
    leather seats very comfy.

Wish i could afford another on, but no longer get money instead of company car.

have cycled the west coast from tralee to gantry and back to the ferry in cork.
We got the train from cork to the start which was very easy.

More traffic especially coaches than I imagined, good fun and people expect cyclists so there is lots of provision.
