    Trailforks is backed by pinkbike.

It could be good if people would put some content up.

It will work better with a rad cage, but you need a new back plate too so it won’t be a short cage any more.

I managed to do the same on a new tyre, repaired it with the non stretch patch material in a zefal tubeless repair kit.

Mk 2 or 2.5 chassis rails rot and it is hard to see without taking bits off.

Mk1 doesn’t suffer from the above problem.

The fresh imports at goodwood look great underneath but four grand! You vould get s well loved turbo or supercharged car for less.

There are a lot of cars about, keep looking until you find a good mk1 at about a grand would be my advice.

Try mx5oc or mx5nutz for advice, buying guides and classifieds.

I waited 6 or 7 days for my bike to turn up in NZ after the airline lost it. They had absolutely no idea where it was. The stickers on it suggested it sat about in Shanghai for a few days.

It has been pretty much sunny all week and nearly all the trails are dry.

Sad to be going home. It’s been ace.

I’m there now. 2.35 minion f dual plys. No punctures all week (so far). The tubeless guys have had a few. I would agree that the trails are not severe wheel wreckers.

I have a swb t5 kombi. I have taken out the single rear seat leaving the double.

One (or two) bikes lean against the rear double seat and are secured with a strap. In the back I put a third bikes front wheel into the corner made by van side and rear of back seat. Secure with strap round seat tube. With the long axis of the bike on a diagonal nothing touches the van sides. A fourth bike can go alongside. For five or six bikes then all wheels off and stack parallel in the back with gear between bikes.

A few large sheets of cardboard live in the van to stop bikes rubbing on each other.

I have a RH lever mounted on the left between grip and XTR 10 speed ispec brake and shifter. It’s a bit tight and you can only downshift by pushing the wee lever forwards.

Decent coffee and new trails would be good. Don’t really see that happening though.

When I broke my back downhilling in NZ snowcard were excellent. One phone call to them and they sorted out everything. Admittedly hospital and ambulances were free as that’s how it works in NZ but they had no issue in stumping up for business class flights, assistance with baggage and transfers etc.

I had a look at mine, I think you need to grip 11 and unscrew 10 from 8.

I have Lost parts 5 and 6. The only way to get new ones seems to be buy a lever blade. Would you sell yours?

I had one of those krups grinders. It wasn’t any use for espresso as it would not go fine enough.

I went for a Rancilio Rocky as it matched my machine. It is good but a step less grinder may have been a better choice.

I have a park ct3, it is fairly recent and has the chromed pin. It is terrible, the pin bent really easily.

I have two old ct5 with black pins. These stay in my bags and do most of the work. Great wee things.

I also have a brinzmann workshop tool a mate gave me. It is much nicer than the ct3 but I haven’t had it that long.

You need to really like stripping cleaning and repairing to get fun out of nitro. Mine shakes itself to bits. And the noise is an issue.

CAB 1T on a black cab.

M1 NCE on a butchers van.

P155 AFF on a 911, admittedly this only really works if you are Scottish.

To have a wee look will only take about half an hour. If you have the same issue and find an easy fix, let me know. Good luck.

    Here’s the manual.

    http://cdn.sram.com/cdn/farfuture/_jmMO0ji6VdpAPF5AWQERJH0UThGqtL1hjnGoWnbNiw/mtime:1372788169/sites/default/files/techdocs/gen.0000000004218_rev_a_2013_revelation_service_manual.pdf

Remove the silver knob with hex key, remove blue knob using 10mm spanner. Unscrew damper with 24mm socket. Pull damper out (have fork upright to avoid spillage of oil). The damper is a black plastic assembly with a metal rod, a spring and some gubbins at the top. There are clicky detents for the 3 positions for the blue knob. When i turn to the lockout position the gubbins and rod move much further down than when in the other two positions and won’t come back out without assistance from fingers.

I haven’t disassembled the gubbins to see if there is an easy fix.

My rev wc do this too. If you take the damper out you can see the problem. I meant to take pictures and fiddle with it but just put it back in open and went for a ride instead. Not amused by the prospect of weeks waiting for a new damper.
