    No, strava won’t do that.

Gps watch with a big battery? Suunto ambit 3 peak. Over 20hrs of gps in the highest gps sampling rate, many times that on lower rates.

If my bike was good enough to worry about scratches I wouldn’t be locking it up anywhere.

Your guide should be able to sort out trails which suit your needs in most places.

Having been to many places I am firmly of the opinion that basquemtb is cheap considering what you get.

I had a seat in a bentayga at a car show recently, it was very comfortable indeed and, happily, I couldn’t see the outside.

A little bit of fresh oil on the stanchions is common if a fork has just been serviced.

Why wouldn’t you use your proper name as it appears on your passport to book flights?

Get that Enduro ordered, nice big lunch box built in now!

A cheap football shin guard on backwards might work. You will be very unlikely to catch that area again.

I’ve sent shocks RM many times since the hoo-ha on here with no issues.

Get next day delivery from alltricks or probikeshop, there will be an option to deliver to a local pickup point usually in a shop. You won’t need to wait in. Will likely be cheaper than a weeks rental.

I could just about get shifting ok with the same set up but add dirt and wear and it was rotten. Rad cage sorted it.

Have a think about going to see your local wheel builder rather than mail ordering some factory wheels. You could get a new rim and spokes and build for a good bit less.

I’ve sent shocks or reverbs with RM many times. And collect plus.

Mine gets upset if the heart rate strap has been connected to my phone. Turning the phone Bluetooth off temporarily fixes it

Dunno but spesh atlas xc shorts with the swat bib liner are great.

The elite strap on mount from halfords worked on my Meta, as long as the straps are long enough it should work.

It sounds like the car is a mx5 rs-limited. They are rare, and the desirable recaro seats and nice wheels are often missing. You can’t just find another locally.

Exteondo did some super light bibs. I mean weight. I think you mean cooler?

Best option would be a used dh bike and your 5010. Only works if you drive there though.

Both tf heavy duty and fox low friction last well for me.

Just taken 22×8 low friction fox off a new shock, are these any use? £15 for two

My charge hr needs to be tight and a bit further up my wrist for the hr to give similar readings to my chest strap based hrm. Hairy arms must really mess with the hr detection.

They are not supposed to be an accurate method to estimate calories burned. Just a way of motivating yourself to do more walking.

The resting hr feature has some use ie suggesting you are not right. This could be overtraining, hangover, minor illness ora variety of other things. I could just take my pulse but rarely bothered. Writing the rate down in a way I can easily correlate it with activity was even less likely to happen.

The sleep tracking thing made me think about how I feel with varying amounts of sleep.

I still use my charge hr and think it was worth buying.

I have a John Lewis own brand. It’s 7 years old, used daily, very quiet and was cheap.

I put a new chain on at 0.5, but keep the old chain and stick it back on when the 2nd gets to about 0.75 then run the whole lot until it doesn’t work properly any more. Currently my mtb is on 4500km using the same cassette, range extender and n/w ring. The extender looks terrible but it all still works fine.

The bus from Buchanan Street bus station is quick, cheap, pleasant and drops you off right at the door of departures.

I spent over 6 grand on a dream blur trc build and it felt fragile and just rubbish. Massive disappointing waste of money it was. It’s easier and more fun to improve the rider.

Learn to use a whetstone, it’s really satisfying. A steel is nice for keeping your knives sharp.

A cheap knife is good to learn sharpening as the steel is usually pretty soft.

A really sharp big knife has always been my preference over bread knives. I have never figured out how to sharpen a bread knife.

Fallout 4 would be ideal I think. It’s really really easy but still fun. Even though it is really about collecting duct tape and screws.

Maybe it’s harder if you don’t collect junk and use it to upgrade everything.
