The Schwalbe 20" schrader valve tubes i used had a threaded collar to keep the valve from pushing in when you attach a pump.

Nokian DH tubes have a valve core remover in the cap iirc.

My old man tried ventile jackets, mostly out of their niche appeal. He has gone back to Buffalo stuff and membrane jackets, mainly due to long dry times and weight.

This still gets views despite being pretty old now.

North Third, Dumyat or Ben Cleuch all offer far better riding than Carron Valley or Mugdock imo.

Are they really making Carron Valley easier? Jings. It could have worked out so much better. Shame.

Mine handles terribly with 160mm 36s. Much better on 130mm.

They make a small difference in lever feel, unless you are getting a good price I would wait until you need to replace your current hoses.

Night rides are so fun. I'm amused at what you call cold these days!

No cracks on my slx with inserts. Or the old saint, new saint and diabolous cranks either, all have inserts.

Very impressive. A mate was airlifted from Innerleithen on saturday. Big thanks to the Air ambulance, paramedics, police and uplift scotland guys.

I prefer the dhx coil on my old heckler to the float snd dhx air on friends hecklers.

Both have been good any time i have been in, never bought a bike from either though.

You will never shift that bolt with a short allen key. Get a long one and use your seatpost or a similar bit of tubing to get some leverage.

Elite, BBC disc version. You could not become Elite on the tape version. Analog Voltmace joystick, hmm i played that most days for years.

    Half Life Orange box

Gran Turismo, can't decide which version. Probably one with the Pikes Peak Escudo in it.

Command and Conquer, probably Generals/Zero Hour +/- some mods.

    Goldeneye.

I have changed my displayed name as it probably wasn't wise to have my real name as a username. I did not fancy starting a new account, and having no history (and hence it being harder to use the classifieds)

I use CRC a lot. In the fairly rare occasion of there being a problem, they have always sorted it out. It sometimes takes a day or two to get an email response.

My lbs (Alpine) charged me £2 the other day.

I presented them with the frame stripped and the cups ready to go in, on a quiet sunday afternoon.

The mechanic was pleased to have a nice simple job to do.

I had left my press at a mates house.

All on the main path, apart from the ones with the setting sun, which are on the Campsies.

Pushing this up was not fun.

Riding it down the main path was.

I've heard quite a few people say the other path is too fragile for bikes. If so, fair enough to avoid it.

If you are overweight address that, it will probably go away.

Avoid alcohol in the evenings. Don't sleep on your back.

I didn't like mine at all. Too steep, too flexy. The only bike i have ever really disliked. Friends used to groan when i took it out the car, i would always have a bad day on it.

Its too small for you. I'm about your height and a large heckler will suit you better.

The platforms on Superstar/nukeproof pedals is bigger than dx, v8s or mg1.

The mag/ti versions are very light but far over budget.

Quite a few friends had them and they all complained that the gloves fell apart.

Troy lee XC, inclines, or various Thor gloves are hard to beat imo.

i'd be more worried if you spent the weekend before your op lazing about drinking beer and smoking fags.
