I'm not sure why anyone would pay extra for "MTB specific" grub screws, apart from convenience.

You could get ti grub screws for fancy coloured sparks on night rides.

The l/h seal popped out of my new Reba teams 4 times on the first ride, and they wouldn't hold -ve air. They went back for repair. Grrr.

Well, to qualify "rubbish", I had some on my singlespeed and they all broke within a month.

I've seen a friend forget their non drive side crank arm, and another was most upset to open his van to discover he had left his bike at home.

Aye, Alu chain ring bolts are rubbish.

Filling a box folding machine with unfolded boxes.

Watching the Irn Bru bottle line to check if anything was in the bottles after cleaning.

Emptying sour milk out of cartons, seems to be a recurring theme on here.

They all paid badly but better than nothing.

Riding hardtails really sets my back off after a vertebral compression fracture a few years back.

PS3 here too. StiffeeFR is my tag.

An STW clan might be fun, although i'm already in a clan.

Maybe consider swapping it for something tried and tested rather than the latest and shiniest.

I've got coil lyrics and 08 talas rc2s.

There's not much in it to be honest, both are good forks.

Coils feel nicer, air weighs less.

I have 2 old Park CT-5s which have given me years of good service, i also have a new CT-3 which has a chrome plated pin, guess this is the "uprated" version.

The pin cannot be made significantly thicker as it won't fit through the holes in the chain.

The chain tool on my Topeak multitool is ok but suffers from a lack of leverage.

Shimano chains seem to need the most torque to shift the chain pins.

3 times i've hit my knee hard with Kyle straits, one bruise, one haematoma about 7cm in size, one trip to A+E for a washout and stitches. They do get worn when i wouldn't wear my Raceface FR knee/shins as the 661 KS pads are pretty comfortable. I've crashed loads in Raceface FR but never hurt myself through them. Draw from this whatever you like, no 2 crashes are the same.

The straps come off the older RF pads eventually, the new models appear to use a different method to attach the straps.

I have the single seat out of the back of my t5 kombi, and just strap the bike to the side of the double seat. 2 dh bikes will fit there.

Putting up with van handling and still taking wheels off? No thanks. I don't want anything sticking out of my floor either as i sleep on it sometimes or may want to slide big heavy things in and out.

An industrial unit near my house, many lorry loads of dirt and a JCB type thing.

After that, a helicopter and pilot for dropping me and bikes off on top of hills.

Better than SS sintered (too hard) or organic (too soft).

I had a go on one of them at a demo a few years back as there was nothing else in my size sitting ready to go. It was very very good at climbing over things while sat and spinning away. I expected to hate it due to my preconceptions about the forks, sort of URT back end and ugliness. I was wrong.

BasqueMTB have sweet trails near San Sebastian. There was an article in the current STW mag.

Never been to Sierra but one of the guides is a good friend of mine and a sound bloke.

Duckcm18, cheers. I nearly always keep the forks at 130mm. It doesn't seem to corner as well on 160mm.

Lots of people have thought those wheels were CB Iodines in that shot. The chain isn't gold either.

I was planning to put my new Reba Teams with BBMC on my Stiffee for tomorrow, but i've lost the collet for the headset. Grrrr i hate it when misplacing a tiny part stops a build. At least its a Hope so I should be able to get another easily.

Sadly the Blur needs new bearings pretty badly and i'm waiting for them to arrive, so it won't get ridden this weekend.

Not the best pic. It has 36s now instead of the Pikes and SLX cranks now. Great wee bike.

Phone the radiology dept and ask if the results have been sent. If so, ask your GP surgery for the results. You'll probably need to get an appointment to be given your results.

They were cheap! SS kevlar seem to last longer than SS organic, and more power than SS sintered

I have an Acer Aspire One, its ok. I bought a huge battery cheap off ebay.

Given the chance to choose again i would like built in bluetooth and a 802.11n wifi thingummy.

I have turned my desktop on about 5 times in the last year since buying the netbook. Would be a p.i.t.a for doing real work on I will freely admit.

Rumbledethumps, you'd have to ask my parents the first question.

I have not said i have a right to life. Not sure what you mean about the future.

Of course people should breed. Maybe a bit less would be good for everyone?

Problem is, how would one go about deciding how many kids can be produced, and by whom. Difficult one that.

    9.2 billion by 2050!!!

Wow, what well reasoned points in support of endless streams of kids.

Why do they drive to Dyce?

Easy. Overweight semi alcoholic oilfield trash ken fine that Stone Island jumpers are not very warm, and their beige Timberlands will be ruined in rain.

Fair point about the wind in NE scotland!

Further massive population growth is unsustainable. The planets resources are finite. We are squeezing a huge amount of species into extinction.

Trumps "Aww kids are cute i want loads" imo.
