1/1897 on one segment out of 18. In the top 5-10% on most of the others so quite pleased with that.

Mountain biking to me is about the thrill of railing berms, the descents. The burning legs and empty lungs. The climbs, the switchbacks.

The location is moot. For me it’s being out on the bike. Hammering it.

    Thanks LoCo,

I didn’t realise that it’s not an appropriate mod for this type of can.

What other options are open to me bar changing the shock?

Needle flow control type? Knob actuated?

Inline flow control that’s hexagonal shaped?
Inbuilt check valve? Pilot operated ?

Remote mounted or part of a valve stack?
I’ll consult my Vickers / Rexroth literature but I’ve no idea what you mean.

What does it look like shape wise?

    It’s a tricky one like,

I’ve met some proper arseholes when out walking on the fells. I’ve seen walkers walking on purpose built bike trails, but i’ve also seen folk on bikes acting like dicks in the lakes as well.

the walkers probably didn’t see them untill the last second, and therefore panic.

I haven’t seen the vid but would imagine, especially on rocky / technical terrain, that the walker(s) are concentrating on where they are putting their feet and not looking far enough ahead thinking “now is there going to be a mountain bike hurting down this crag” or whatever.

Have rejuvenated them many a time with a butane torch. Problem is eventually the pad will just fall of the backing plate. The extreme heat obviously effects the resin bond

1 x 10 11-36 34t is the sweet spot for me, both for fitness and the terrain I ride.

I originally set out with a 36t on the front but found it hard work. Now that I’m fitter i’ll probably switch back.

I use the BB mounted Superstar Components chain guide. It’s never given me any bother or dropped chains and I don’t exactly romance my bikes round a trail !

People still wear watches.? Wow you learn something new every day.

The company I work for recently enforced a complete ban of mobile phones. It’s amazing how many people went back to watches, myself being one of them.

I couldn’t be without one now & it feels weird off my wrist.

To the OP, I suggest you wear it on a daily basis. Life is too short.

    Lovely watch by the way.

I think you’ll find that PG is in many medicines as well

I think the general consensus about the water molecules is that its no biggie.

I’ll try to find the info for you. It was quite interesting.

Oh, and good luck by the way. I wish you every success !

It’s not the nicotine that’s the issue though, it’s the effects of absorption of PG and VG.
There was some concerns that water molecules could form within the lungs whilst vaping IIRC.

My wife uses them at the minute. I stopped 4 years ago & have stayed stopped.

I too was concerned about where the “vape juice” came from therefore bought pharmaceutical grade base ingredients and done my homework. It now costs between £0.10p – £0.16p a day to “vape” and the dosage can be altered to suit. The grand master plan is to drop a milligram a week over 24 weeks then quit. Probably.

Folk dripping in North Face & using walking poles when strutting about browsing the high street shops in Keswick / Windermere etc.

Reminds me of the scene on Dumb & Dumber when Harry & Lloyd get kitted out in Aspen after borrowing the money out of the briefcase !

I would have thought that £900 and a bit of patience in the For Sale section would yield a bike far superior to the Boardman?

Does it have to be a brand spanker ?

Jesus, these pressfit BB’s are gash aren’t they?

Got three months out of mine. A friend with an Anthem got 4 months.
Another Anthem owner I know got 1 month out of his.

Rich pickings for an aftermarket alternative with proper sealing eh?
