An anchovy, cooked within an ortolan, within a quail, within a grouse, within a pheasant, within a goose, within a turkey, within a swan.

A liitle bit of wee came out whilst reading this

    Haha aye, ’tis not cheap.

Far cheaper alternatives including some bike specific ones with a Google of “orange citrus degreaser”

We use a degreaser at work thats derived from oranges (citrus based). Bloody brilliant stuff and its biodegradable.

Cuts through the gunk on chains & cassettes in seconds.

Excuse me all im talking utter bollocks and your right it makes no sense (long stressful day) :-)

However the following does which I suspect is a mixture of mech / chainstay length compatibility.

The whole reason I asked is because I have chain tension problems when trying to adjust the b-tension screw properly.

    I’m running the following:

Turner flux frame (air out of shock whilst setting up)
    11-36t Cassette
    32t Narrow wide chainring
Zee FR Short cage clutch mech

Ive got a situation that if the b-tension is adjusted so the jockey is correct on 36t my tension is mega slack on 11t

If I take a link out it’ll probably rip the mech off in 36t when the shock is fully compressed.

I can get round it by adding a link back in but adjusting the b-tension so the jockey is about 12mm away on 36t

Seems to ride OK but what do you reckon, longer cage mech?

Out walking last week in the Lakes up an old miners track leading to High Pike. Couldn’t believe the amount of frogspawn in the puddles along the track.

Remember having our last tea break on a nightshift a few years back at about 4.00am on a January winter morning. Ten of us walked out of the bait cabin and I was first to spot a massive bright orange elliptical shaped object pass right over us.

It was absolutely stunning to watch. Remember thinking it was on fire due to its brightness and it was silent. Obviously a few of us reported it to the MOD but never heard anything more.

Little green men – I don’t think so.
Rare natural weather phenomenon – maybe.

For a bit of balance here’s my midsize SKX013 with a modded W.Jean superoyster 22mm bracelet with solid end links.

Love the bigger divers but even the SKX007 looks too large on my punative wrist !

These will be fine for what you want and are generally accepted as good budget Chinese lights.

I’ve bought 2 sets from that seller and they’ve been fine and were delivered quickly. The 5000 lumen claim is a bit adventurous though hahaha

PS3’s implementation of Netflix is really good. Apple TV 3’s is bollocks.

95 Mbit connection and it regularly drops out of super HD and has constant audio sync problems. Just in case you were considering a one…….

A mate of mine swore by Hans dampfs but has recently moved to Conti Rubber Queen UST BC’s and prefers them over the Schwalbes.

I run the RQ’s as well and like them, I’ve a pair of UST mountain kings as well but tbh keep the RQ’s on all year round now.

Run mine at 18F 24R. Mate runs his at 24F 28R

A recent IBD diagnosis has made me change the food I eat for the better. No bread of any shape or form and nothing cooked in fat. Try not to have any refined sugar.

Boiled eggs or gluten free porridge for breakfast.
Home made chicken salad or mackeral/other fish for lunch or baked potato & tuna.
Supper usually involves poultry and mashed potatoes or wholegrain rice.
Lots and lots of streamed veg.
Kale,Spinach & lemon smoothies (sounds rank but isn’t bad).
Seeds, berries and nuts to graze on.
Homemade Paleo recipe muffins and flapfack for snacking.

Sounds like cack but its not bad at all.

Used to repair machinery that made amongst other things the little “pork” sausages that went into a popular brand of baked beans.

The emulsion looked like pink diarrhea and had probably less than 10% meat content.

Once a batch of fat & skin went in with hair still attached. Still remember them coming out of the ovens and bursting out of the casings like hairy caterpillars.

    Mmmm yummy

Boiled eggs with white pepper and salt condiments and a sliced of buttered toast.

Now I like that choice. Not too pretentious however sophisticated enough to distance itself from scrambled egg.

I phoned my nurse for the results (there were lots of blood tests too). She told me to make an appointment ASAP

Mosedale,Mungrisedale, Caldbeck & Hesket Newmarket are nice. Mungrisedale is a good base for mtb.
