Well I had the old handycam up the ronson and I kid you not, the pain was excruciating.
The guy took no prisoners with the pre-camera finger lube either. Happy days – not!

Going for an endoscopy soon, should be a breeze after that lol

TLC sell it for £2.10 for a 19mm x 10metre roll. Hardly bank breaking.

I would guess you would get 25+ applications off one roll ?

I use it on my Cove and its spot on.

My 3/4 humvee shorts were faulty from day one. Pop stud pops off dead easy and the belt slackens itself off during a ride. To be fair to Endura, they did give me an RMA number to return the shorts but I couldnt be bothered.

I just live it, worst case is my arse bared to all on the trail!

Lloyds pharmacy sell a little gadget which is essentially a battery pack and two glass probes. The glass probes are inserted into the nose as far as you can comfortably then you switch it on.

Inside the probes are two special types of led which emit at a specific wavelength which in turn destroys pollen and dust in the nose.

My boy suffers BADLY from hayfever and has tried all sorts of tablets & steroids but finds that this device actually works in relieving the symptoms. I think it costs around £12, and can be re-used over & over again.

BTW, being sceptical I tried it out even though I don't suffer from hayfever. Upon removing the probes my nose literally ran like a tap ! I don't remember being congested at the time so it must do something !!!

    Hope this helps

Best one yet was a big DC shock, couldn't let go but felt "wired" after it !

A colleage of mine got blasted out of a 3KvA switchgear panel though, best leave it at that.

One of those swish bow & explosive arrow combos would work a treat, Rambo 2 stylee.

however, you could always make an insulated, electrified suit out of chickenwire, rubber & nuts. Probably more humane.

I think the bottom line is this, stick to quality bearings such as NSK, SKF, FAG, RHP and you wont go far wrong.

There is someone on here who rides with a noseless saddle all the time – can't remember who though

I wonder if its something he's crafted himself or can you get them like that?

    This is my one,

'09 XT brakes, discs & shifters. M580 LX crank. XT shadow rear mech, Deore Front Mech. Hope headset & head doctor, 2006 Fox 130 RLC forks.
Hussfelt 60mm 0 degree stem, mid rise bars blah, blah, blah

P.S the seat & posts for show hence the shady angle. CRC got my order wrong so im without a post & seat at the minute. :(

Love it, samuri summed it up perfectly. You dont want to frantically thrash your handjob, just take it easy or you'll get friction burns lol.

My employer has used them for the last three years. We have campained & better campained for our employers to ditch these "box shifters" and use & support local bike shops in our area.

Also, don't think that you can get yourself a sweet XT groupset or a fancy new frame or forks with that £1000. Its a very limited range of accessories like pumps, gloves, helmets & jackets etc that you can get.

What I also don't like about wheelies is that their prices are top whack, often you can get just as good a deal shopping at the likes of CRC.

Cove Handjob XC all the way. Merlin do them built up for just over a grand. The hype is true, a pleasure to ride.

I was in the same situation, had a Giant full susser which was OK but wanted the challenge of a hardtail to improve my skills. I only wish i'd changed sooner!!!
