I’m a vaper, and a cloud chaser at that, I vape on aircraft, that a I’m working on and b I’m flying in, there is a way to vape on aircraft that is undetectable. And I also vape whilst driving. You see a car has a least 2 windows that you can open, crack one of them and it disperses better than normal fag smoke. Traffic lights are an issue, but with constant airflow no bother.

My last 2 have been 0 percent. But i did have the money for both in the bank. As your mate says you’re earning interest on that money, so the way I sell it to myself is that I’m actually earning money by buying a bike

I worked on Merlin’s a few years back, and got the chance to fly in one doing the exact thing you are talking about. My guess it’s the same, they do them every year, its a few weeks training for the helicopter aircrew to escape and evade fast jets. Bloody brilliant experience

Sorry, should have said mine was a crack both times, not all the way through, and nothing displaced. Left to heal naturally, and both on the same side, fit and healthy early 20s, with 8 months between breaks, wasn’t the same place each time though.

Mine didn’t need surgery both times, 8 weeks first time, and 4 the second, although the 4 was rushed, should have given it another 2 really.

There is a way to fleece points…. Self checkout, they ask if you used your own bags, and how many, 1 point for each re used bag. I always seem to use 99 bags, a 3 figure number flashes up an alert to the supervisor, 99 doesn’t. 99 extra points every time I shop.

I’m due to be leaving a £30k a year job next march. And I keep looking at bikeshop work, no where near the money I want nor need, but can’t help looking still. Passion/stupidity fine line

I’m with scaredypants with this, my Mrs isn’t really a faffer, but on occasion I simply leave the house and start the car, she knows then she has 2 minutes or I leave without her, only happened once and she learnt her lesson

I love mine, same spec as OPs. Find myself getting strava PB’s every time out round the local thetford rides. And was keeping up with my friends on full sussers quite easily in Scotland a few weeks ago. Fantastic bike.

We went last bank holiday and did, kirroughtree and dalbeatie in one day, as we were staying in dalbeatie, glentress the next. With winlatter on the way up and gisburn on the way down. Loved it all, glentress has loads and loads and loads, we could have done another day there with all the unmarked stuff

I paused it when I used it, if you’re tracking mileage that’s no issue, but if you’re tracking elevation this method buggers it up. As you get massive gains in the uplift van

As bruneep has stated, I can go to the pub in the afternoon at the weekend and come home £50 lighter, I haven’t drunk that much beer…. Where does the money go?

I bought mine full build, and there really isn’t much room, between 5-10mm at a guess without measuring it.

Interested to know the outcome of this, I was tempted by the handle bar one, and stick it on the roof of the jag. Don’t know if it’s sturdy enough

I’ve said before that the g shocks are bombproof, had mine for 6 years now as a work watch, spends its life with me up to the elbows inside aircraft, getting snagged scratched, fully submersed in hydraulic oil, engine oil, and avtur. Still going strong, minus a few scratches. Bought for $38 from an American PX

Mentioned earlier up there, 4 year contracts??? As far as I’m aware in the RAF its 12 year engagement, which means nothing really, I signed up on a 9 year, extended to 12, an will get out at 8. As long as you’ve done a return of service, which for me is 3 years after my last bit of training, you can ask to get out, used to be 6 months notice. But is now 12 months, for my trade anyway, just means I can use the resettlement grants well and take my time CV polishing

I loved it, and I love his Slough/acting northern accent too, as its a proper Lincolnshire accent, just like mine. If you don’t like stuff on the box, don’t watch it.
For me it’s a shame he didn’t go for that last run, when Stevie Jones cut him off. Never have I thought guy would die on a bike, unlike other road racers. I reckon he could have got a little more out of it. Then again, Mr fox could have got more probably. Good viewing from my tele, and I’ll more than likely watch again when repeated

I’m getting out next year after 8 years in the RAF, as a aircraft techie, seems I was in your position at 19 as your son, I’ve had a wail of a time, learnt a great trade and seen a good amount of the world (sandy and hot). I would still recommend it, but for me, now it’s just not right for me, I’m fed up of spending a lot of my life away from the Mrs and want to be settling down. Salary is good, but with the new employment model that’s coming, many techies like me are gonna be without their incremental pay rises and the attraction of better pay on the outside is seeing a good lot of us leave.

I taught a mate of mine who was 23, teaching was basically give him a bike, the quiet road I live on, and away you go mate, took him a few hours, left him to it and he eventually picked it up, wish I tried the pedal off method first as he struggled to get the balance and pedalling bit together at first

Yodel are so shit in my area, I, after 2 days of non delivery tell the company I ordered from I haven’t received anything. They immediately send something out again and in about a weeks time I check down the far end if the garden and find 2 off whatever I’ve ordered.

So for me all hail yodel! Makes me lots of money on ebay
