Right at home. But interesting point about the door. In the 5 years that me and the mrs have been together we have travelled alot and stayed in many beds and by pure coincidence apart from her parents I have always slept the side closest to the door. Only just noticed that

Get whatever you like. Then get an anker battery. Im using one on my s3. 7200mAh battery for 25 quids. Makes the phones profile quite large., but 4 days use and 3days with heavy usage. Cannot recommend enough

A good friend of mine has jist started working for a charity in the last 6 months. A very competitive salary. When I think about it I can deal with that as the work she does generates a hell of a lot more revenue for them. Bit the jollys and even things like a sports therapist comes in every week to give them all rub downs, as sitting at a desk all day is bad for their backs. How much raised money pays for all this. Im very wary of all charities and the way they’re run

Im RAF Aircraft techie. First point is. I go into work and graft my nuts off all day, with barely a minute to think let alone have a brew. As for the 45k personel, where the hell did that figure come from. 32k ish and with more and more cuts. We are completely overstretched. Wish I had time to skive off.
Amazing the amount of “know what they do as dave up the road told me in 1972” people that know sod all about the day to day work

200 posts is a bit strong. An awful lot of spamming would take place. I know passionford which I also frequent, you haveto be a gold member to sell. Same as premium here.

Did you get a text message saying its on it’s way this morning, and then when delivered and signed for another text message saying so. I did. Although it was royal mail texting. Seemed odd, never had that before.

I’m still wary on drops and rocky decents. After breaking my collarbone twice in 13. More riding I do the better I get, have learnt to say no and not be afraid to walk down something. Worst thing is to ride scared and not enjoy it. It takes time

I will mirror the shimano m088 suggestion. I have the 078s and have been spot on. Great for walking in. Clambering up muddy banks and such like. Fit great for me. Fit is most important though

Nice one. Managed to break my sram x5 shifter in half unloading at dalby today. Got a friends fork caught in the cable ofmine and only a slight tug bust it. So a bodge tape wrapping and putting up with crap shifting was in order. Build quality aint great

As others have said slippy but very predictable in the wet. Mines nearly bald at the back. With a nic on the front. And they cope well at thetford and brandon. Well for me anyway.

Yeah the graffiti side is idented. As i didnt have time to get new bolts. I stuck it on wrong way round. It worked spot on so never got round to changing it and getting shorted bolts. I cant see me hitting it in the wrong orientation will really do much damage. To hit it that hard to shear something other things are gonna be broken.

I run mine wrong way rounf for the same reason as timbo. Too tight for short bolts. Not had any issues

This is starting to annoy me a little. People cant seem to get their issues sorted when dealing direct with on one. As no one answers the phone or reads emails. Yet you start a thread on here type brant a few times. Then along he comes to save the day.
Not sure whether this is genius PR, showing us all how they sort your problem like a mate. Or whether they need more staff to deal with the calls and e mails in the first place

To the people that believe red is bad for a modern diesel engine, utter rubbish.
1 it come out of the same refinery tanks as white
2 tractors and plant machinery also use modern engines

I think easel meant that after a while you can closely estimate a torque value. I reckon I could give you within 5nm.

    stu170

Usefull but only if calibrated properly. Ours at work used to be done every 6 months. But now we have to check the torque before every use on the analyser. Mainly due to people dropping them and mistreatment

I ride a giant anthem and have my rebound set a couple of clicks towards quicker. I find all the whoops a killer on the back after a few hours of riding hard, mainly because im out of the saddle and pumping a lot.
Didn’t much enjoy it when I first moved here. But now I love those sections andwith riding there a lot seem to have got it. Hard to explain really, but I pump it a lot and use the short sections between to get a few low gear pedal turns I to keep the speed up. Speed is key for them I think, they are quite enjoyable when you get it right. Hard work though

Edit to add I do ride at 30 per cent sag

johndoh – Member I heard a story once about someone at a fuel station trying to fill their car up with oil then, after some time of fiddling, someone came out to help them as they were clearly struggling.Turns out that person was trying to carefully pour the oil into the dipstick hole.

My other half did this. Apparently she isnt a moron and can fill a car with oil. Hmmm.

As for the op me and a mate a few years back decided to run a scrapper with no oil just to see the results. Mondeo 1.8 zetec. Oil drained from sump. Filter removed. 5 mins at idle. The 10 mins ragging about the yard before it seized.
I see no issue with just turning it over with fresh oil in now
