I’m on my second one, and would get one again next time round. Both have chewed into the freehub a bit though and need a bit more encouragement than a Shimano one to get off! (Hope freehubs)

Another +1 for Briskers. Just got some Hydromatic one’s for wet days but not used them yet. Had to go up a size compared to normal non waterproof one’s too.

I’ve used Apex stems since they came out and never had any bother with twisting either.

I use AMRAP rings. Never had any bother with silicone rings and keep it on all the time, did kill one with diesel and hydraulic oil though.

I stopped using Gorilla tape after cutting one tyre off and nearly having to cut another, on Hope rims but not 35’s. Never had it happen with proper rim tape. I use Stans Flows now, they work well Maxxis tyres for me.

Cheap day to day ring and keep the other for wearing on special occasions, or wear one glove like Michael Jackson?

Went from 740 to 780 then 800 but couldn’t get on with them, ended up at 760. Didn’t like carbon as much as alloy either, Renthal FatBars, as someone else said grips made a big difference for me. Tried loads before finding a couple I like, really thin ones work best for me.

Oooh, what pick ups though? I got a Squier Mustang instead of a LP Junior and keep looking at soap bars!

Use the money for a few upgrades/set up by a luther then spend some on a couple of pedals and or a new amp. I bought a hollow body a few years ago after really wanting one then never really used it much. Am now looking to get an LP junior and mod it a bit.

32″ sounds about right. They are tighter at the ankle, Singletracks are anyway, so don’t flap around or sit over my shoes. I wear pads underneath and don’t find them restrictive either.

I’m pretty much the same and went for large over medium. I have to use the Velcro adjusters to snug them up a bit but nothing major.

We went about 3 years ago in December. Was about 18 to 20c during the day but did rain a few times too. It’s dirt cheap to get about on buses too, think it was about 2 quid to get round the island. The war rooms/tunnels are worth a visit too.

We did all of ours in a hotel on a deal. Didn’t bother with table decorations, favours or pre paid drinks as no remembers them anyway. Didn’t bother with a car and had a homemade cake. Found a photographer who was happy just to wander about all day taking pictures, only had about 10 posed/ group photos then had a little book made after. It was cheaper for my Mrs to get a dress made than altered too which was surprising!

I’m running mine around 30% but am heavier and have a heavier spring. Don’t tend to have much lsc or lsr but still play around alot with settings. Was riding a Five when I bought it so it came set for that from TF but will get them to play with it when it goes back for a service.

I had bother with the 750ml one’s coming off but the smaller 650ml one has been fine and not come away even in a few crashes.

I had that combo. Good on the front but draggy on the back, can’t say I noticed them being overly square.

Just been reading that on TF’s site. And is a tench walrus like a hench sea lion?

I went from Hope Enduros to Stans Flows with 2.4 High Roller 2 tyres. It did square them off a bit but it was only the rear that I noticed it pedalling but swapping to a 2.3 Minion feels better. Looked at the Hope 35w but got put off by a couple of people I ride with denting them fairly easily.

We capped ours, mushroom type jobber, and put a slide vent in the room. Normally left open to stop damp but can close it when the wind is howling.

I’ve a set of Tech Enduros on Pro 2 hubs I’m wanting to move on if you’re interested in second hand.

Ergon GD1 are quite and comfy too. Prefer them to Death grips and as comfy as Renthals.

Always used Juice Lubes since you going tubeless and never had any problems. Like someone else said lots of variables and different opinions of what’s a problem.

I’ve got a Toro I use with a joystick. Only for around 2 hours and it’s been great so far.

A couple at work have have been broken in to a few of times and there’s a mod they can fo apparently. Think the front locks get popped then they can get in the back. Nice vans to be in though, I wanted one but got slapped down by the Mrs and she got a Fiesta again instead.

Northern Rail, Grand Central and TPE all run through Darlington too. The faster the trains normally equals better pay/conditions but can also be harder to get into. Driving can be quite a repetitive solitary job but that suits some, passenger drivers have to deal with the public too to a certain degree so can have that to deal with as well.

I got some in December, have been good so far. Only them for trail riding and not had any overheating problems, not being properly waterproof helps. Makes getting changed after getting clarted easier too.

I got an ali one after the carbon came out. As someone else said, was all ready to get a carbon one until I got chatting with the shop and went down the spend the saving on upgrades route. I looked at it as 600g vs putting everything I want/ think I want on it.

Mine came with a clear as well as the mirrored lense. Don’t use them as much as I probably should but are nice and comfy. I’ve got Smith glasses too which have a set of rose lenses, work as well as the mirrored goggles.

No zips at the bottom on the new ones. Only used them once so far but good, not used riding trousers before though so can’t really compare them to anything.

That Victorian thing is on everyday after 4, is expensive though.

Yorvik is open again but don’t know how toddler friendly it is. Train in is a good idea, there’s a couple of old fashioned fair ground rides set up near the of the Shambles and the food stalls down the bottom of the market are brilliant and have covered seating.

Used to use one on Birch Park in Huntington near the post office. Is another MOT only, no work place that was always reasonably priced.

It’s took a month of looking at it but mine (20 month old) has started asking to use hers. Got a second hand balance bike and she can only just get on it, small for her age, but is already starting to get the hang of balancing whilst walking up and down. Likes doing endos or big skids into wheelies when she needs turning round too!

If you don’t mind a drive Yorkshire Cycle Hub is open now up on the North York Moors. Think they give you some nice loops and I’ve heard the cafe is good.
