Living where I do I see plenty of Stag parties out and about. Last weekend a dozen sailors with the stag dressed as the Captain.
I’ve seen nuns, schoolgirls, football teams, smurfs chasing a group of naughty nurses, Amy Winehouse, the Spice girls and Scooby Doo standing at the urinals.
One weekend there was a complete idiot in a dress with his arms and legs in plaster trying to play football …

I use the 17-85 as a general walkabout lens and it does the job. The image quality isnt perfect (but still good) at wide angles but it is better past 30 mm and the image stabilisation really works.

I dont think any of the cars look good this year. The front wing is too big and the rear is too high.
The good thing is that the rule changes are so big this year that it is almost like starting with a clean sheet. Last years performance is no indication of this years but it will still probably be Ferrari and Mclaren at the front, unless one of them has made a monumental cock up in design (McLaren rear wing, Ferrari exhaust).
It would be good to see another car in the mix as well, with the favourites to do so being BMW and perhaps the Renault in the hands of Alonso.
Personally I would love to see Williams near the front again and these new regulations could be their chance

Brake pads in the 60’s used to produce a gas during use. This gas could build a layer between pad and disk, reducing performance. The holes allow somewhere for the gas to escape.
Modern brake pads dont do this so much but cross drilling does help prevent a film of water doing the same thing and aids heat dissapation.
