Not sure but on my 500 I just set it to autopause so it doesnt keep running when you stop, think the 200 should have same option.

rhysw mine was bought from Gernamy, its a worldwide warranty so as long as you find a LBS to facilitate the warranty process (it wont cost them anything if you post the reverb off yourself)its as simple as that.

^^^^^ As above phone Fishers/Sram uk, I had a problem with mine (dropping 10mm when weighted) and I called them to see if it just needed bled or should I return it under warranty…..they said to return for repair/replacement and a week later I had a brand new reverb as replacement.

Have Yeti sorted the cracking swingarm issues on the SB66 now? I only know 2 people with these bikes and both cracked them although to be fair Yeti did sort the problem quickly.

Had the same happen to me……just a freak incident but now have one of these fitted just to lessen the odds even more of it ever happening again!

If my experience of Burgtec pedals is anything to go by make sure you stock up on replacement axles albeit was nearly 3 years ago so they may be better now I went through 3 axles in as many months and I have never bent an axle before or since I owned the Burgtecs…..now run Superstars with no issues at all.

Friend of mine bought a 2011 german one that failed, called sram uk who told him it was a worldwide product/warranty and to send it to them via a local dealer which he did and a week later recieved a brand new 2012 FOC by return!

Have dealt with Slik on numerous occaisions and always had good service, especially when just ordering an item off the website (no need to contact/email then), ordered Fox 36 decals a couple of weeks ago and they arrived within 3 days.

For genuine Rockshox decals try a Sram stockist as they should be able to get them through Fishers, or you could always give TF Tuned a try.

Before I got the HR monitor for mine I read a few reviews and apparanly this can happen with the newer more comfortable strap but the older ones are fine! I went for teh older version and its comfortable enough and had no issues at all.

Well I can honestly say you have been mis informed, some of my helmet cam is from the Duns tracks and are labelled as private club tracks as its private land that we have permission to use hence the wooden built start ramp BUT the one you specifically emailed me about is not one of them and is now twice the length of them so not possible on the hill near Duns.

But believe what you like, no skin of my nose.

Best track in Thrunton is still that walker path hehehe

Toons, yes but those are not the ones on helmet cam you emailled me about. And afraid I still cant tell where that helmet cam was taken.Sorry!

Yea I only live 10 mins away and have only been once this year, as I prefer things a bit more technical and steeper but Thrunton is fine for the odd night ride or windy day…..if you can avoid all the cocks on xc bikes dressed like robo cop that is, but again probably not as bad as official trail centres. IMO the best piece of trail in Thrunton is the newish walkers path just down from Pink Panther, nice flow and plenty of roots best natural trail there by a country mile……good old FC.

Got an Irish terrier here which I think is same family, full of character but very intelligent and trainable all be it hard work. Puppy stage can be a handfull be bear with it and you will end up with a very loyal great family dog that is happy to run with the bike, play with the kids………plenty of excercise required though so perfect for an outdoor type of family.

You could always ride the gulley and castle hill to the hole in the wall………..just like back in the day, proper old school :P

Toons, sorry I stand corrected the person that told me has obviously got his wires (trails) crossed like I said I have not ridden it recently although it is a personal favourite, as for fecked the last time I was there I would say parts of Super G (think thats whats its called, few bits on HP and a fair bit (mostly at the start) of the trail thats opposite where super G comes out thats IMHO.

Bang on Drac, def a victim of its own success, shame but thats the way it goes I guess, weekend warriors (you know the ones…dressed like robocop for xc riding) have the trails fecked…..luckily they dont seem to know them all…….yet!!

I hear someone has also spoilt Eiger sanction by building a jump on the run out of the rock chute!! not ridden or seen it myself yet but have it from a reliable source who knows their stuff that this certainly does not enhance what was a great natural section of trail.

Thrunton is still a fun place to ride for a once in a while change from the Cheviot hills though and I do think the trail builders do a much needed and on the whole good job, with so many of them have often wondered how long it takes and who decides what gets done!!? But seeing as I only ride there once a month at best I can happily live with their decisions.

Had a contour for over a year now and love it, its used mostly for DH so the goggle strap mount is perfect and as long as I remember to tighten the strap then its fine, some of my vids would not have been as good with a chest mount…this one for example

Anyway plenty of examples good and bad here :-

Just remember to set it high enough and it will be fine.

Sorry toons unfortunately I cannot give you the location for that track (which is now even longer!) its not just the track thats secret but the hill/wood, hence why I did not post it on here with the others.

ir bandito if your local I can give you details on where to find a couple of those descents.

    Cinnamon YGM,.

Bullroar your welcome….I live in Wooler so I know my way about up there, if your after anymore info just drop me an email.

If you have the map out and are feeling adventurous the title of one of the other helmet cam descents in my pinkbike folder is very close to there as well.

Bullroar its south towards Langleeford, there is a fire road just off the top of Hawsen Burn that takes you right,to the start of the singletrack (singletrack is the FP that joins the bridleway on the map)

You can see broadstruther on this vid (its on the left at about 3.10) but you would be approaching from a diff direction.

The route cinnamon describes, if you head from Wooler to Broadstruther then head to the valley you might stumble upon this descent :-

If this happens I usually just take them out and roughen them with a file just to take the glaze of.

Only happened a couple of times but seems to work ok for me.
