Yea it connects to your phone via blue tooth, I use the live track all the time when on solo night rides (road and off road) and it works a treat!

510 owner here, upgraded from 500 and find it more accurate (picks up more segments in trees)blue tooth connectivity works great as does the livetrack as I use it for solo night road rides, touchscreen and setting up diff bikes is also very easy and user friendly.

Looks like a great 2 days riding…….the UKGE at Inners last weekend was superb with best stages I have ridden at an enduro, especially stage 5 but some of these are another level again……Jawburn is gonna be carnage as rode Jawbone a cpl of weeks ago and had forgot how full on it was. I entered the E2 so looking forward to enjoying the stages without turning myself inside out on transitions but flipside is gutted to miss out on riding Prospacker (D1 st3)as its a fantastic trail.

Timing fail on Stage 1 had the results all over the place, so only times from 2 and 3 counted.

Couldnt believe the amount of riders walking down some of the more natural stuff……they are in for a big shock if they have entered Alwinton/Kidland round.

    Good days riding/racing though.

Had a similar thing happen with my 4yr Hope LED2 and I just downloaded the returns form off their website and sent it back to them for repair……….2 days later I received it back repaired FOC, new circuit fitted I think.

I had an enduro race recently on really steep muddy trails so fitted some old 26″ wheels with 2.5 wetscreams to my 650b frame n forks, bike rode fine and even had added mud clearence…..ended up with 2nd in category and 9th overall…….did about 20 miles on them that day with no issues at all.

I got the 650b AM carbon rims off them and the whole experience was faultless, great comms, arrived promptly and built up easily, been running them tubeless for 4 months now, Ben Lomond, Gravity Enduros etc and they havnt missed a beat.

It says you have to pay online then collect in store……so how can you claim the BC 10%?

For a 650b fork it might also be worth waiting for the X Fusion Sweep

Find mine really comfortable and havnt moved when I have crashed, I have used 661 in the past and they offer more protection but I found they often got dragged down when I crashed leaving no knee protection and for anything other than DH were hot and uncomfortable.

I did see that, but the pro’s snap and crack loads of bikes (Nico has snapped a few lapierres in last few years) also I cant think of many popular makes that I havnt seen cracked examples of in some form or other over the years (Yeti,Trek, Mondraker,Ghost,Lapierre, Commencal, Orange,Morewood to name a few) buy new and make sure they have good warranty backup.

Also have the SL version here and love it……….had it 5 months and raced n ridden it pretty hard and all good so far, yea the forks are 2013 CTD’s and maybe not the best but I am going to get the 2014 upgrade fitted to them, am hoping gavstorie’s fail was just a one off : /

Onzadog….I had 36 floats on my Dune, now have 34’s on my Cube 650b and dont notice ant flex or difference in that way just a bit too linear in descend mode (IMO)2013 model.

IME Fishers/Sram will sort your post even if you bought it from Germany etc as long as the post is still within warranty period (its a worldwide warranty), although the warranty procedure will have to be processed through a Sram dealer/LBS.

Seen 2 like this, dropping about 10mm when sat on, both returned to Fishers under warranty and new post received about a week later.

I just used a Bionicon on mine and had no issues, them when I needed a new mech got a XT clutch and again it worked fine.

If your doing the freehub ones there used to be a circlip holding the bottom one in place so remember to remove that before you try to drift it out!

Also I looked at getting the race version for 1k less as wasnt fussed about Sram XO over Shimano XT but spoke to Mojo and Jtech etc about the forks and shock and all recommended the FIT cart, Kashima, trail adjust over the base models and Mojo said this was over £800 upgrade alone.

The SL comes with a reverb stealth.

I have one….love it…get one! Notice the light weight more than the wheel size as it weighs in at just under 28lbs…..cant fault it, I had a Nomad C before it.

Two friends of mine had theirs dropping about 10mm when sitting on them and they got brand new posts off SRAM under warranty!

Two months on a Cube Stereo HPC 160 SL and love it,I get on with it much better than I did with my Nomad C but there is so many things different between the two I cannot really say its down to wheel size, guess the weight is the biggest thing I notice (27lb, Nomad was 33lb).

I have used both and they are just the same for keeping mud out your face but as said above the RRP drops the mud straight onto your fork seals so I now use Mucky Nutz on my bikes.

    Great pic Gee!

Cruzer only a couple of rides on it so far, but yes I am liking it, cant really comment on wheel size but it is so light, climbs and accelerates really well, all the angles seem good and the spec is top notch so once I get the suspension dialled in (never had Talas or CTD Trail adjust before)am sure it will be great all round.

No its a 650b frame, plenty clearance at the stays but just about enough at top arch of the swingarm although the Hans Damfs are a large volume tyre pics probably make it look a touch closer than it actually is.
