Bit of a PSA – I’ve just registered on Olights website. I got a free I3E EOS keyring torch and £5 off voucher for registering, and bought the 1500 lumen Warrior torch which was on offer from £80 to £56 plus a free gift of an Obulb outdoor lamp (rrp £28). So all in it came to just over £50, which qualified for free postage as well

I did mine with gorilla glue. Glue on the rubber seal, wait till goes tacky, wet the other surface on the door and tape to hold it in place while it sets

Squirt lube for me too, I’m about to run out and will be getting some more. Needs to be applied to a thoroughly degreased chain but after that keeps the chainset nice and clean

Not sure if it has been suggested before (have only skim-read the thread), but if anyone likes the TV show Taskmaster I can highly recommend the game. Not quick to play, and can get quite messy, but lots of fun (especially after a few drinks)

I found an Edge 1030 at the side of the road a couple of years ago. It didn’t have any contact details on the startup screen and I couldn’t work out a home location from the ride history but could tell it was well used with trips recorded in France and Spain. I contacted Garmin with my contact details and they contacted the owner so I was able to reunite her with it. She was so relieved to get it back that a few days later she sent me £50 of Evans vouchers. Karma circle complete!
