Im surrounded by idiots!!! Rocheys 10 tt time of 20.58 is more like an average of 28mph.
My best 10 time is 22.58 and i ave. 26 something mph, and we have a slow "flat 10".

Yes also….. I was looking at one for a long time. Admittidly i went for the Ti 456, only cos it is Lynskey made. One of our Tuesday possy has the Duster Ti and is a very nice bike.

I finished in 4.19 on an SS. I recon i lost 15mins+ being off the bike with the most horrendous cramp i`ve ever had. Was tough though, 😥 and im local to whinlatter!

Ive had the "normal" size for years… ever since i was a kid really. Now my kids like it and we tried a micro set…..Dont bother ❗

Go with the said "normal" size and get the non detailed cars for them to crash…that`s what they are for…..

It does give up more grip when wet, thats cause it has been washed clean. It is at is`t worst between wet spells, i.e semi dry….

I ve never left square taper. Too many stories of isis and the like not lasting long….especially when you live 6 miles from the wettest place in England….

I run a Royce sq taper/Middleburn in both bikes. With the chain off the cranks will spin a dozen times with a firm tap on the crank arm.

Where is that bridge and white house. I lived in Cockermouth for 4 years befor coming back to Keswick.

I really do feel for those in town as we used quite a lot of the shops on the main st, (we found Sainsburys too expensive !!!)

I have a Royce 109mm in my Ti 456 and Middleburn`s. Its a neat fit mind.

The latest in Keswick is that the overflow gates @ Thirlmere were opened @ 2 o clock and the river has risen a little again. The Road leading out west is impassable, and part way down coming in from the East. Also Borrowdale is underwater (nothing new there then) 😉

When this happened in 05 it had actually stopped raining, however, the forcast is for more rain until the morning 😥
