I`ll be up there spectating. Usually on the Pond (which you pass on the Altura Blue)as there is a bump on the inside of the corner which has caught a few drivers out. Last year there were 2 that rolled! 😯

Ive just converted my hub from 20mm to 15mm with the CK axel, it really was esay to fit as well, less than 5 mins and i`m not joking either!

I have upgraded mine. I have put an M4 on the front with a 203 rotor and kept the MM on the rear and put a 183 on it. You will need Hope adaptor B on both brakes.

I use Easton Monkeylites on both bikes, one of which is an SS and so the bars do get pulled on quite hard. They do flex as well 😉 They are both used as AM and although i am not that heavey and ride smooth they are excellent bars and deffo worth the £95…….

What is there to Justify ❓ Ti will by far outlast a steel or Alu frame by 2/3fold…. I had a 1993 Lynsky Litespeed frame which i sold last year and it was still awsome, only not to current geometry and that`s the only reason i sold it. Now on a Ti 456 😆

It is quite technical in parts but is very twisty as well. Lots of tight turns to keep you on your toes 😉

The Blue flows quite well though 😛

However, it is no comparrison to Kirroughtree etc…

If you spin then 175 would be fine… If you grind top gear all the time then you need the extra leverage…and blow your knees appart 😉

Like i said… We looked, (and we live in Keswick) and we have 5 (yes i said 5!!!) kids. You can allmost go abroad for the same price. Like you mentioned, everything on site is extra and really expensive at that! 👿

I totally agree with ballsofcottonwoll!…. Way too pricey for a holiday in the UK. We have allways gone to Haven, especially the one at Ayr in Scotland….Not very expensive and we seem to have had good whether the 4 times we have been and going again in June.

Any of the W. Bosch "Greenstar" combis would do the trick.

Square Taper M burns on both bikes here. Only now after 10+ years and 2-3 bbs has the old RS3 given up.. (the taper on the drive side arm!).Currently being replaced with an RS7…. Both running a Royce sq.taper, 109mm axel.

It`s actually the quarterly figure they give for production. i.e. 1 is the first quarter, 2 is the second etc….So if a car is labelled as 4, then you will not be able to buy it till the end of the year

    Trust me … i know 😉
