I think Howies are a bit lost with the high growth and take over by Timberland two many forces pulling them in too many different dirctions, ethical, profit, production, fashion/market. etc I also dont like their cloathes anymore they used to make some more technical jackets etc. They appear to be trying to improve but i think it may be out of control. As for prices there to high, especially considering they sell most of their cloathes direct ( cut the number of retailers to one per county this year) and not through retailers hence a lot higher mark up. I wont be buying anymore Howies cloathes but i will recomend these brands

Just been told that i am not allowed another defender, hilux’s are quite expensive , you can get a 2005 freelander 40,50k milage for 6bags of sand or a 97 p reg 100k miles hilux.

Hora did you buy it good on you lad , how much did you pay £200 quid i bet funny that! It was probably for the best as i was only looking for a commuter and got a sunn and built it up with old partsfor less than a 100 notes. And got a BMIX on the way to (hopefully). The turner has 5.5″ so i dont know if i’ll cope.

how big are the cracks if only small, sounds like the plaster is drying out too quickly? Have you had the fire on? Sanding and filling shouldn’t fall out try some thick lining paper under the paper and allow it to dry out properly.

Ok ive got the venturi 3/4 length pants and salomon xa pro waterproof shoes, well i say water proof but their pretty knackered and leak. I am used to have soaking wet and freezing cold feet, just wanted them a little bit drier and warmer , so i’ll think i might give them a the shorter ones a try but the water will probably ingress at the top ,
