    Hi

kind of the glacier express only stops to pick up passengers in a number of places, the closest being andermatt. This turns a 3 hour cheap journey into a 7hr expensive trip and the flight times dont work with the journey either.

    Cheers

We will be going January 18th and looking to spend around 5K plus spending money.

Have looked at Zermatt and Mageve but wanted to know if there are any hidden gems. As most of the places are fully booked all ready!

    Cheers

    You climbing or biking?

Eitherway theres old snow, ok where walked on for riding.
Think there is a bit of rain at the moment so climbing might be difficult bt will probably dry out fast.

Cracked rear light cover , but dent on the rear quarter and rear bumper. so thats two pannels that near work. Made even worse by the fact that i am about to sell the car and have just spent £400 earlier this month.

Exactly my point muffin man. Bearing in mind when some little tea leaves broke into my car to try and nick it and got caught i had to pay £250 excess and they got a caution!

Yes it was on my road, although they had placed about 2inches on the pavement. It does have some reflector cheverons on the side, i have just been out to photo it.

Yes i am trying to blame someone else and yes in someways it is my fault however why do you think there are cones / barriers around excavations , you wouldnt say well if it was a child in the road…

And its a golf by the way

Slugwash, i would be interested to hear how you got on with your sleeping bag this weekend.

Surfer , i have gone from a wee airic to ballon bed and extenisive living room testing has shown it to be fairly robust ,i burst a few ballons setting it up but none once in the cover, which is pretty well made i might add. In terms of weight saving and price compared to a neo air its a winer.

Saying that i havent usd it in anger yet

Its a bugger aint it! I can get the VAT off though as the missus lives in Jersey so that should soften the blow a bit and its a whole 150grams lighter than my current one a 2006 TNF Scorpio!

    Thanks Capt,

taking a weeks holiday in the area after so dont want to spend the time curled up in a ball!

My current sleeping back is 9c temp and was fine with a airic mat and looking at a phd minimus at 5c and ballon bed and leaving the primaloft jacket at home.

    But its £230!

Bit more research has informed me that the altimeter is a baramoter that needs setting at the start of each trip so no good for me.

plenty to do, lots of nice places to eat in town centre, try around hope street area or liverpool one, if you want to get out of the centre may recommend a trip down Allerton Rd lots of bars and resturants and its quite posh so nice and friendly or if you up for a more bohemiam choice try lark Lane in Aigbuth. How about the Superlambanna tour , a wander round the Albert dock, walk round and look at the architeture or maybe a trip to the theartre, or a gig or comedy club.

Crime is no different to any other city and scousers are far more friendly than most other place.

    Enjoy

Nickjb , what is notifiable opening up the chimney? I thought its was only in regards to installing a new or replacement hearth, fireplace or flue.

Or is removing the bricked up wall notifiable?
