Thought the pace was a nice bike a good climber and good on the twisty stuff, the hemlock was setup with 6" and felt it was better on the downhills but and a bit stiffer on the back end also its a local bike to me, but the whole cracking swingarm stories ruled it out in my mind, although this seams to have been sorted and warranty is good. Got my 08 5 spot for £1100 which for me offered the best of both worlds. Stiff back end , relitively good climber and not to steep head angle for the twisty stuff.

I tested both and bought a 08 turner 5 spot in the sale, but I had always wanted one so that may have clouded my judgement a bit.

Yes was trying to hold the axle, however turns out the axle was bent and the cone nut was broke (sheared off into two pieces) need to order a new one which as with all parts seem expensive for what they are.

Stonemonkey, wouldn't it be 1/1000000000000000000000000000? A bit LESS probable than 1000000000000000000000000000/1.

    Cheeky bastard!! 😀

Jason, I dont think you would stuggle prove:

    a duty of care
    a breach of that duty
    and injury or damage

I personally said that I wouldnt persue it however, in principal he has every right to do so. I am not a risk adverse blamer but you need to look at the bigger picture , what if this piece of wood had hit your child / self would you simply shrug your shoulders and say shit happens?

Yes some people read it but not many and tends to be people who have come to live in the city be it the woolybacks or wider a field or the younger generation. I have personaly seen the Sun set on fire by a newsagent who cancelled his order following Hillsborough but still had them delivered. Just dont read it in the pubs around anfield, even the bluenoses wont buy it.

I think the law would be on your side, tort of negligence and all that but if it were me i'd mention it to the builder so firstlty it doesnt happen again, see what he says and come to an agreement ie money off your job, some/all payment for your damage just dont go in ranting and raving otherwise you have a leak in yor roof in the future.

tell me about intergrale ownership, do you think it could be used as an everyday car? I have always wanted on since I saw one aged 11 at rally GB. I recently missed out on a evo 1 that seemed a sound buy.You dont want to part with yours do you?

I have done this in the dry and found it pretty tough had a couple of dabs on the sttep rock drops , the best bit is at the top of win hill once youve past the steps , found some jumps and berms up that area as well which are pretty good.
