Got some Magura Laurins (actually for sale if your interested)….. had no problems with them at all, super plush and smooth. Take a while to set up right but once dialled in they are better than my Pikes…… Double arch design makes for a stiff lower half, not far off bolt thru.

I know it's all personal preference when it comes to forks. I don't use Fox due to the wear they seem to endure if you don't maintain them every 5 minutes. I'd stick to Magura and Rockshox…….

Read the reviews that are floating around the net, Magura forks are very highly rated.

Welding it would be fine but you may need to get a gusset plate installed to give added strength…..

It's a bit of a work in progress at the mo but well worth a good burn around, lots of nice climbs and drops, rocky bits, a good tight singletrack wooded section…….it's a pretty big space.

We've got plans to build a rock garden, add berms/jumps etc over the summer…..

West system…….. marine grade epoxy. They stick boats together with the stuff (not 2 boats 'together'….)

That would make me find any CCTV footage in the area and spend more time trying to get them dealt with by the law

Got better things to do with my time really…. shit happens, life is not perfect. The little smile it brought and not letting it bother me was worth the £8 it cost me at the scrappy…….

    Lighten up :-)

Someone smashed the rear light on my van a couple of years ago. They left a note that read something along the lines of………

"Sorry I smashed your light, people saw me do it. They think I'm leaving my details……. I'm not. Have a nice day"

It made me chuckle so wasn't that bothered

Nice and steady although I'd like a few more commissions booked in but that's always the case….

I'm a self employed furniture maker/boat fitter. Summer is a busy time usually as I get more boat work in and there's no better place to be when the sun is shining :-)

Sierra Nevada's are ace……Go out there to our 'shack in the hills' 4 or 5 times a year. Flights are cheap and you don't need a guide, just explore….. Never been to Morzine but can highly recommend The Nevada's.

Pics below are within 30 minutes ride of our Cortijo……..

Yep, Lyrik's on mine….. no pics though :-) Run at 160mm most of the time with the occasional trip down to 130 ish for long climbs.

Prefer the coil-y-ness of the Lyrik's over Air Forks. Hecklers aint the lightest of bikes but bloody bombproof, really fill ya with confidence. Bit of extra weight for a far better fork up front is worth it. And the weight of a bike is by and by anyway………

Loads of pics in this thread: http://www.singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/please-show-me-your-hecklers

Traveled through on a trip around the world a few years back. Absolutely beautiful place, lovely beaches, lovely people…….

It's worth trying to get away from the main centres and exploring a bit, the rural side of Bali is amazing and you tend to lose the hawkers. Avoid Kuta as it's the main tourist area and is not a good representation of the rest of the country.

There are some lush black volcanic sand beaches to the north east that are worth checking out, sunset time is the best when the whole town come down to the beach to chill out and watch the sun dip over the sea.

If you get time pop over to Java, much less touristy and a real taste of Indonesia. Gunung Bromo is worth seeing and not to far from the coast of Java/Bali side. A volcano within a 2 mile wide volcano with it's own Buddist monestry. quite amazing…..

Good food all over and great parties, just explore, it's the best way to find the gems of the island :D
