I rode the T129 at the launch and was very impressed, also with Ian Alexander’s design ideas, so much that I bought a 729 hardtail that I rode today at FOD and loved every minute, even Sheepskull. I don’t work for ATB either! 🙂

I have two blacklite Command Posts and have had no problems, I actually like the three positions as I bet I’d be faffing around all the time finding the ‘ideal’ height. I do like the action of the reverb though.

Haha, I used a Sierra as a bike car and it was great, seats down would swallow the bikes up, did loads of trips to Wales in it, cost £250, great till one of the rear doors rust was so bad you could just poke holes in it! Had Cozzy bumpers and everything!

For my son I bult up one of the Merlin alu jump frames with some old duke forks, started of with 24″ wheels then went to 26″ when he was older, my daughter uses it now (she’s 13).

I’ve never had a problem with squadies and ride MOD land a lot, if I see them I turn round or ask them if it’s ok to ride through, they’ve always been fine. I do nightrides elsewhere though as common sense tells me that having 900 lumens darting around might be a little disruptive!

I’ve got a silent guide and a plasma, the silent guide is really quiet until it gets muddy and then makes a racket for some reason, must be the grime running over the elastomer or something. The plasma is a bit noisier but constantly so and of course its not as pretty! I think the plasma is a good bit of kit though.

Skinny downhill singletrack can make me laugh out loud even when I’m on my own 😛

I avoid nightriding around Deepcut and Mytchett nowadays for this very reason, it must be a right pain being on manoeuvres and getting your nightvision ruined by 900 lumens blasting in your face! I stick to Swinley at night.
