I have a 2018 epic, only a few rides on it so far but apart from the famous ‘knock’ it’s an impressive beast. I liked the normal BB and fitted my dropper from my longer travel bike and then sold that…make of that what you will 😀

The first laps were very slippy and caught a couple of people out but then it was fine… and fast! Everyone was good natured as ever too.

I still find the Troy Lee A1 the most comfortable helmet I’ve ever tried.

Not nearly as impressive as some of those above, Shackleford Trail Break, and my injured knee held up!

I’ve done it once on a rigid 29 and once on a fatbike.
29 was faster but the fatbike was more fun.

I started with Purgatory front, Ground Control rear, back was still too slidy in the mud so have now gone Purgatory front and rear.

Seems to be happening quite a lot nowadays, is this to do with the MOD getting the hump with mtbers on their land and making it difficult?
