Yes, more and more often, as I find no one seems bothered so long as done sensibly and courteously with regard to other users, if any.

I find it great – use it to stop cramps, works a treat, no side effects. No calories as stated above – good for the likes of me.

incidentally, the same article puts the cost of all road accidents in 2009 at £15,820 million – which is a fair chunk of that Fuel Duty revenue!

Which it would be if it was paid for by the exchequer, but its not. In fact less than 7% of this figure is paid from taxes.

33% ie £5,000 million odd is for damage to property, in other words the damage to the car….. (in the main)

Just saying these figures can sound a lot worse than they are

H Reg 300TE, had it 5 years now, 270,000 miles, 7 seats, eats petrol if heavy footed but can shift, best family car I’ve ever had. Cavernous flat load space and bomb proof. Apart from a fuel pump and a couple of relays nothing done outside very basic servicing (Oil and filters)

9 months reduction in average life expectancy for the whole population from pollution. 32 000 premature deaths a year from pollution

Given the pensions problem at the moment, this would be a cost saving………….

TJ Quote from earlier in the thread

I find the lycra clad are equally bad – rubbish road positioning, poor rearward observation, aggressive riding.

Perhaps they were doing the above

Doesn’t the highway code say you can cycle two abreast unless you are causing an obstruction?

    Rule 66 Highway code

    You should

    * never ride more than two abreast, and ride in single file on narrow or busy roads and when riding round bends

It could have been a busy road, they should have been in single file………….

    Last night on my way into town, I had numerous drivers pulling out of turnings forcing me to brake sharply, numerous drivers not using their left side mirrors and turning into my path, drivers ignoring give way signs, ignoring my right of way on roundabouts;

So you bought that amazing Cloak of Invisibility…..

Right – eat the same food together, saves a load of time.

And don’t bath your kid every day. Waste of time!

    This is so true…

Surely your wife can look after the baby for one day on her own whilst you go out riding, then you do the same for her another weekend?

We do it all the time, eg I usually go to Le Mans for a week with mates – Mrs George does the kids, another time Mrs George goes away with some of her mates for a break eg Las Vegas, New York, Spain etc and I look after the kids.

Means we can go during School term and its much cheaper.

Then come school holidays and other weekends do family stuff together.

    Cheers

PS If you’re going to bed (to sleep) an hour or two after your daughter, either shes going to bed too late or your going to bed too early IMO. :D

    Hi,

Just to clarify, what labels were you wanting?

If its recorded delivery ones or special delivery, just get the rolls of labels from RM direct and posting book to put them in. (Free of charge)

All our parcels are weighed and labeled before going to PO. All they have to do is put stamp/label on, then they stamp book as receipt.

    Cheers

    About 7 days normally.

We send 5 or 6 packages a month to Italy, either plain airmail or “internationl signed for”, and never had a problem.

If its valuable send it UPS, only costs approx £20.00

    Cheers

    Get the Merc.

I bought an H Reg E class Estate, 3.0L Straight six petrol, seven seater 5 Years ago for £900 from ebay. Stll going strong today, 267,000 miles, only needed a fuel pump and a relay since buying it apart from routine service stuff.

Parts are cheap if you go to somewhere like EuroCar Parts, petrol isn’t though!
