I don’t know if this will help, but if you’re at home expecting a Prime delivery, track it on the website, counts down delivery number and shows map and location of van. (Just like DPD), Usually driver is 10 drops away and in our street already, takes him 10-15 mins to get here from end of road. Just go and stand outside, or leave door open. Having said that some Amazon stuff comes via Royal Mail – now thats a whole new kettle of fish! :)

I was up to maybe 60 already on the slip road ready to join and we both drew level at the junction when I first saw him.

If you’re doing 60, level, when you first saw him, that’s piss poor observation. Also it would have taken another 20 m or so  to pass him on the slip road and join the Mway ahead of him. (apart from the fact that that dotted line means give way)

Interestingly in Australia and I think America it’s frowned upon / illegal to allow cats free reign outside as they SHIT IN EVERYONE ELSES GARDEN and instead, owners cat proof their own garden to keep them in or create large outside runs for them.

Anyway, I use them on road bike, Ridenow, as fitted tubes, I carry 2 x butyl spares in spares bottle. on the bike conti 5000s, and they are faster rolling than standard tubes, mate has exactly same bike and contis, but butyl tubes. He has to pedal to keep up on a descent when I freewheel.

I’m still not confident enough to use them as spares as I could be 50 miles or more from home/car and apparently they are hard to patch. (Although I have two on the table ready to use, just need to go for it!)

Problem I found was pumping up a presta valve tube, ramming on trackpump hose, pushing valve into wheel, and causing failure at valve/tube join. Cured by using a schrader /presta tip attachment. (also useful for garage air lines)
