Have a serious mosquito and bug issue out here when riding (mostly at night) and after trying different sprays etc now just use the wrist bands similar to these…
    Wristbands
I find the wrist bands are more practical after you start building up a sweat.

Tried simply adjusting the should straps so the camera sat higher, maybe 8 inches below my adams apple and I think the result is OK.

Ive licked Jackie Onassis crutch, well the crutch on her jodhpurs.
Mate of mine used to make therm for the rich and famous, well party at his pad, we found some of his gear he had taken home to work on we passed it around…..she sadly passed away shortly after.
Thats the closest I have ever got to the famous though a mate did shag Captain Pickards daughter, apparently.

I could never look at Rod Stewart ever again without thinking of the inflatable arse act and he got away with a character called Cupid Stunt, not a comedy genius but very underrated.

As others have said, wet roots, big problem out here in rainy season and no matter what angle I hit them I always seem to fly off sideways…oh and snakes, nearly ran over my first Python on my Monday night ride, fella must have been over 7ft long.

For his controversial cricket commentatory I have always wanted to boycott Geoff Boycott?
I do try to avoid buying French if possible and anything involving Murdoch or The Guardian, two sides of the same coin.

Sorry GS, Hong Kong resident so have to stick with the local tariffs which are pretty cheap, this is more about finding out why I am using (in my opinion) excessive data not so much the cost.

Going to start with removing every app and work my way back from there.
As for the plan, its for my personal cell phone so would rather not spend too much money on it as I also have a work phone, however i prefer to not be too reliant on that.

Have a 300MB per month limit which should be sufficient for mail, Whatsapp and stuff as this is for personal use, try to use my work cell phone for business mail etc.
Only apps I see for data usage reporting on an iPhone appear to only do overall usage unlike Androids apps which can break down usage per application, if I am wrong someone please point out the app to use?
Will switch off Push and have disabled Dropbox already.

Not the bike as that gets used so possibly a long weekend in Japan.
Left London on a Thursday and got back Monday, all to impress an ex, fun but looking back I think I should have just stayed at home.
I also went through a bespoke suite (5) and shirt phase recently (20), I have no idea why.

At least they are out on two wheels rather than using cars, also, rich people tend to stay rich by making money, not spending it.

Can you still get the Alfa 159 Sportswagon in the UK?
From my experience of owning one its was a great car, in diesel form very sporty and economical to run, good looking, handled well and, no one will believe this, had a very good quality build and was relable (for me over 2 years anyway).
Only car I have owned where total strangers came up to me and noted what an attractive car it was, well 3 people anyway.

I would 2nd The Moons a Balloon, whether mostly ficition or real its a great little read, also……
Dear Boy – The Life of Keith Moon
Evil Spirits – The Life of Oliver Reed

And though stretching the word biographical a little, I would really, really recomend all of the Spike Milligan books covering his national service and afterwards starting with….Adolph Hitler, My part in his downfall.
Its starts of very jokey but as you go through all 7 related books it really does give you a good insight into the man.

Thanks for the feedback so far, looks like I will just see what wheels are availbale and give it a try.

Concern is the access to tires though a slight raise in the BB height would be OK and something I could live with if it means I can get half a chance to catch up with buddies riding 29ers.

Paceman – as per the list referenced by jeffus

For those wondering why would I do this (extra rotating weight, lack of tire choice etc), I am more than happy with my bike but sometimes you just have to try and see what happens, as JFK may have said in this situation…We choose to go 650b in this decade and do the other things (like fat wheels or SS), not because they are easy, but because we have expendable income and too much time on our hands.

Currently have a Fox Talas 32 up front with about 20mm of clearance with the current tires but it is QR only, so a fork upgrade will allow me to go 15mm axle at the front as well.

Captain – New Cathay 1st class seats/beds are good having been lucky to experience them on the 3am Mumbai to HKG redeye after staff felt pity for my sorry state while waiting for 5 hours for the flight!

Am lucky enough to have done a couple of Tokyo-Heathrow trips in Club class due to upgrades (friends of friends etc) and have to say I thought the BA service was very good.
Used to do the BA LHR-JFK run a bit in the late 90’s (sadly economy) and I say if you can afford it, and its for a special occasion, go ahead and enjoy no matter which direction you travel.

To add my hat to the ring RE airlines to fly with, I try to use the following (now mostly flying from HKG):
    1. Emirates
    2: Singapore
    3. Virgin
    4. BA
    5: Cathay
    6. UA/Continental

The way I see it is that the Syrian government let thousands of nutters into Iraq after the last gulf and were behind the bombing of the Marine barracks in Lebanon in 1983 (acting as an Iranian proxy) so the US are now repaying the favour, you reap what you sow.

Sorry, had a few beers so not really going to add any more to this apart from I this, I would trust anything by Lizzie Phelan about as much as anything from Fox news, Jesus, to think we built the 7 wonders of the world, travelled into space and have produced beautiful works of art only to have all that consigned to the history books by our own stupidity!

Do it, its good fun but trying to get tables for 20 of you in the tents may be a struggle.
Went a few years ago with 3 mates, rented a mobile caravan (RV) and drove down, staying at a campsite a few metro stops from the festival.
Its not for everone, and in a group your size there may be some little logistics problems but I say go for it.
