WW – Its my wife, she loves that floor

Steve and Jef – The TRc was a crackin bike but just fancied a change and a little more suspension to play with.
RE the cost, bearing in mind there is no import duty or sales taxes here in HK, the SB66c came to around 3.4k GBP, I sold the TRc (XT/XTR build and in OK condition) for around 1.8k GBP.
Maybe not good to spend my xmas bonus before I get it or if it is even confirmed!

Me with my first love, a Renualt 5 Gordini Turbo, probably around 1990….

Very, very, very unreliable car and and very uncool compared to the other Hot Hatchbacks around at the time, wish I could get another, great fun.

would or could they accept someone like I..with such a penchant for more lurid unhealthy..socially immoral not to mention illegal, controversial and menacingly intertwined with innercity working class life.

If your the reanimated corpse of the Marquis de Sade who has caught the MTB bug I understand completley, otherwise I will have to second the earlier WTF.

Saw it yesterday and thought it was just OK and I think of myself as a big Bond fan.
I preferred QoS as at least it had villians trying to do something nefarious, a great car chase at the beginning and hints at a sinister organisation at play (ala Mr White).
Otherwise, it was an enjoyable romp that ticks all the Bond boxes but maybe a little Meh.

I seem to remember it being acid and beers on a Friday night planning the Saturday night, and then Saturday night being spent driving around the M25 and stopping at random phoneboxes (this being the early 90’s) before ending up in a field somewhere, glorious days.
Pretty sure I went to some rave weekend in north Wales at a butlins camp (Starworld?)as well, 3 days of being very Doved up, maybe in 91 or 92.
Kind of stopped it all around 95 when it all got a bit clubby.

Should be in about 8 years for the UK house but if I buy in HK as well, as the wife wants, I should be mortgage free when my coffin finaly comes to rest 6ft under and they start shoveling soil on top.

Feel your pain as been there many a time, I would recoemend going to A&E and getting X-rays to make sure there isnt any serious internal damage as mentioned already.

Beb – Yes, I now starting to look at the new generation of 150/160mm travel bikes that can go up as well as down and may go in that direction next year. For the moment though, the 140mm Talas on my TRc is fine, in fact for a lot of the XC trails out here I put it down to 110mm, for technical trails 140mm should be fine in everything except long sections of rock gardens.

Blur TRc owner and not ridden a Mojo to help you compare, but for trail shredding it is exceptional. Slack and light the only two areas of concerns are the low BB caused by the VPP design and the slack front end which can be a pain on really steep climbs.
Came to the TRc from an ASR-5 which in itself was an exceptional trail bike and I have no complaints.

I would like to do something useful with my life but lack any ambition, oh, and I do own and ride a mountain bike.

I guess this does not include google maps apps on your phone because they have never taken that off me on my trips there, and I do pop over the border a fair bit.
As for Tibet, rather a socialist government than some half baked religious cult that they had lording over them before but I guess that is an argument for another thread.

Its also one thing to have a very large ship capable of hosting aircraft and another to have the experience, knowledge and actual aviation assets to make use of it.
So even though Russia and China have joined the carrier club it will be a few years until these assets can really became an effective tool though the way things are going out here I can see China sailing it around a few contested areas very soon.

Since moving to a MAC I have found iMovie to be easy to use, previously I used Serif on a PC which was not bad either, very simple but maybe a little too basic for your needs?

Got told by my local STD clinic that I had been tested positive for Hermes.

Tend to change frames every 9-10 months as I get bored, usually take components across but then these usually get swapped out every 10-12 months.
Middle aged, no kids and only space for one bikes means I tend to, and can afford to, change things depending on what I am riding a lot of at the time (i.e. CX to AM etc).
Currently on a SC Blur TRc (5 months) which replaced a Yeti ASR-5 (9 months) and looking for something with more suspension in the new year, maybe a carbon Covert or Scott 700, lets see what happens in Jan/Feb.

I put Pledge on my frame after cleaning as I find it helps with repelling dust etc on the next ride.

Wook/Fizzi, first one is a Giant Anthem 29er, the second a BMC Speedfox. Know two other friends here who have both experienced cracks on their BMC Speedfox seat tubes (below the top tube) in the last 6 month, maybe there is a production or design problem?

Rorschach – They are all breaks near on on the seat post and we do like pies, but I fail to see where these two facts coincide
