In the mid 80s who would have thought that Nicolae Ceau?escu would meet a grissley end, he seemed to have such a grip of Romania, or that the Stasi would not always have the run of East Berlin.
I only know what I have read or seen on TV about North Korea so I just dont know what their game is, I do know something for sure though, nothing lasts forever and thanks to karma most of historys bogey men usually meet the end earned during their lifetime.

It will be interesting to see if they fire off a rocket at random i.e. a test missile into the sea, just to see what transpires.
I speak from behind the supposed safety of the PLA…….

Big business wants its ads to get to the highest number of people for their buck and will pay to ensure that, so unless your riding a wave of total public support they will not care about their public image if they perceive it to have a marginal effect overall.
If you dont like what they write dont read it or pay for their services, notify those who advertise through them that you will no longer buy their goods and, if you feel they have broken the law, take legal action.

Edit: I should add, good luck.

It seems that the closing of the Kaesong industrial complex is the next play in NKs hand, not much left after this apart from sinking a ship/shelling an island.
This is getting some press here in HK, not too sure whats happening in the mainland though.

I would recomend going to the newer 802.11 N type Wife as with older models I found it impossible to find the G spot.

North Korea’s run by a psychopath & South Korea’s run by the Americans

South Korea is a fully fledged democracy that happens to have close relations with the US for obvious historical reasons, why would you state something like that?

When I have a short stopover in a new city I usually jump on a tourist bus, good way to get information and you can usualy pop on and off as you wish.
For getting to and from the airport you could also try the high speed maglev train, bit pricey but an experience.
A walk along the Bund is OK though judging from the polution I saw there last October, maybe better to stay indoors!

I thought the SWP was the true socialist party or do you want to create something slightly to the right of them but definitley more to the left than current New labour?

Is it me or do other people also think that all Kim Jong Un does all day is ride around on a bright red trike shouting ‘respect my authoritah’ ?

What have you got to lose but a little time and petrol, also its good to get out of the village and spread the gene pool a little.
Was in an on/off long distance relationship with the current MrsC for a couple of years (6k miles) and it all worked out in the end.

Once went on a coke/drink binge during a lads trip to Miami, anyway 2 days in everything escalated as it does and one of the group did a shit on the floor in my room, I lost it went to the airport and jumped on the next flight home (somehow I convinced them my mum had died so hence my distraught state, yes, very low). Came to with all 3 seats of the emergency aisle to myself and just as the plane was landing at Heathrow, biggest waste of money ever!
    I have done worse………………..

I have never seen Avatar or the Harry potter films.

Watch Godfather 1&2, some of the best films ever made (opinions may differ).

Even I have been on Japanese TV.

Judging by the long winded posts in relation to politics and religion threads and the fact that contributors seem to have time to post these threads (and in fairness some are well informed and researched) I would say one or two of the following are amongst us:
    Pope Benedict
    Tony Blair
    Kerry Katona
    Maggie thatcher
    Richard Keys
    George Galloway
    Vlad the Impaler

Is this where we post pictures of our SB66’s again?
Standard XT (2×10) build with 34 160mm Float upfront, great bike that can covers lot of different riding which is useful as I only have space for one bike. Exceptional bike and fast, able to go up like a billy goat but you have to give it some English on the way down to take advantage of the suspension.

Sorry, typical STW response, the best bike is the one you are riding!

Work and then stay in the hotel.
However, if you fancy a few beers there are a few nice bars around the Royal Bombay Yacht Club, very westernised with OK food.
Sorry cant remember much more detail as its been a few years since I have worked there.

Edit: If you have time you can catch a ferry to Elephant Island from the Gateway of India, its an interesting place to walk around and kills a few hours but watch out for the monkeys.

For all the complexities of this universe, the massive diversity of life on our planet, the deepest depth of our oceans and the beauty of our solar system and its unfathomable size there is nowt more curious and mysterious than ‘other people’.

Bit of Tai lam Chung, not done it in a while and enjoyed as it does have lots of little climbs and drop offs, more an XC trail but still fun to bomb around. Bit chilly though, dropped to 15 at one stage….

And always a good oppurtunity to do the partaloo pic (old TLC tradition)!

Have you considered Yateley or Wokingham, nice little towns and about the same distance. Lived near Thatcham in Newbury for nearly 10 years, would not rush back.

After now spending nearly 3 years away I would say:

    Humour
    Real country pubs
The green and pleasant countryside (including the riding)
A legal system that, on the whole, you can trust

Theres a lot more things I do not miss but I guess thats for another thread?

Tigers cant be that hard as I saw a film the other day where a small Indian kid managed to survive on a life boat with one for ages, would not happen if a Lion was there :)

I like those calm little moments before the storm, it reminds me of Beethoven.

In the real world though, very early cold mornings and the sound of birds starting their day.

Have a pair of Singletrack shorts now for nearly 4 years and although not worn every week they are still holding firm, which is good as not a fan of the new singletrack short design (like belts not poppers) of the MT500 price!
Also highly rate there Merino socks, Humvee shorts and their gillets.

Have a neice called Breeze, everytime I hear that name I just think of washing detergent.

Also live in Hong Kong and am now starting to not even question some of the christian name names the locals adopt, I work with 3 Phoenix’s and an Anakin in my office alone, however, dont get me started on those crazy Filipino names!
