When the temperature drops to a pleasant 25-28 degrees during the day, making midday rides almost bearable.

I’m 5’9/175cm and ride a 16.5″ frame with 50mm stem and its nice and compact, if you prefer more reach when riding then I would opt for the 18″?
My other bike is a Mach6 which also has a short toptube which a lot of people dont seem to like, long and slack seems to be the thing these days, any way, your right on the cusp in my opinion so probably best to get a test ride and with a bike that would be close to your final spec.

I fly about 2 times a month and have never heard of this before, the X-Ray machine is usually between 1-2mtr long, how could it even happen?

Done it a few times, it relies a little too much on people being good sports whereas Paintball its a little bit more obvious that you have been hit.
The guys (they are all guys) out here take it very seriously, you can get some real hardcore stuff.

Its fun, doesn’t hurt that much (wear goggles at a minimum) and I found the indoors stuff (close quarters) is great fun, very quick short sessions, not so keen on the outdoors sessions as it turns into a sniper game.

Have not done it in a while as a found it not as much fun as riding a bike, plus I couldn’t take it that seriously.

As some one who used to work in WTC 2 in the mid to late 90’s and knows people who were directly affected by this it always amuses me when these threads come up, the things some of you guys do to amuse yourselves.

I think South Park covered this much better than any of you conspiracy nuts, who seemed to have multiplied in numbers since easy access to hi resolution camera phones put a stop to UFO and Big Foot stories.

Recently built up a HT, a Stanton Switchback, to compliment my Pivot Mach6 mainly for local trails which can be technical but have a mix of trail and concrete plus a lot of climbing in between.
I keep the Mach6 (running a 170mm Fox 36) for bike trips and when I ride the more gnaar stuff in HK, especially for DH shuttle days.
I don’t think I could go HT only, but when I do ride it I really enjoy it as I know its limits(read mine) although I am having to dial it down a bit as I have already cracked one carbon rim by going a little too far on it!

Seriously, is this where we’re at now, if I tell my wife she’s looking sexy today then it’s ok for someone I’ve never met before to say the same thing to me on a job interview?

Depends, is the interview for a lingerie model or an exotic dancer?

I put mine in a mesh bag. Liquid soap and 30° wash in the machine. Never a problem.

Same, no problems though I have no idea what detergent is used as I just grab whatever is in the cabinet.

Another Hawaii, hopefully later this year.
Always wanted to visit the Great Wall, for some reason never got around to it and its kind of nearby.
..oh, and Whistler, that’s the summer bike trip in the next year or two (I have been telling myself that the last 5 years).

At some point the human race will no longer exist…at all
so anything we do is ultimately pointless, a futile attempt to carry the genes forward

Bingo, we will not even be around to see the end…..

Golden Orbs are very common over the summer months, the above fella was around hands size (legs, not body!).
These two set up their webs just a couple of inches above head height on a bike.

The cable routing on the current one is bad, by putting it under the BB I think they have made it worse, also, why does the Alu model have much better color options.
I’m glad they went for a standard eyelet size though for the rear shock, it was a pain getting the right spec CCDBairCS for my current one.

Also, boost, can you run your existing 142×12 wheel set with spacers?

Hold a raffle with 10k of it as prize money, sell 4000 tickets at 10GBP each.

Add some disclaimer on the ticket that if 4000 tickets are not sold the raffle is null and void with a refund.
At worst you keep your money minus printing costs, cushdey.

I will jump in here, my LBS (the owner) mentioned to me after some work, none wheel related, that that the Hope hubs on my 30mm LB wheelset were not genuine but since then I have asked him why and he has not backed anything up. I now have two sets (one for the Mach6, the other for the Switchback) and I have had no issues with them, used exclusivity on HK’s and Chaing Mai’s rocky trails.
Will get off my backside sometime and open them up but after 5 months on one set I don’t see any issue, if they are fakes then they are good fakes!

Can you not get on the airport train to Hoboken for a few cheeky beers, I seem to remember there being a fast train shuttle service?
You could even catch the PATH train from Hobeken and be in mid-town in no time at all.

For both bikes (FS Carbon XTR/XX1 & HT Steel XT), and if I purchased the same models every year, probably around 10% NET salary. Its the upgrades and other stuff like bike trips that probably adds another 5% to that.

Been using an ASUS Zenphone 2 for the last 3 months, 4GB Ram, 32GB of memory, SD and 2 x SIM slots and pretty quick Intel processor, screen is not a bad size either.
Picked mine up for 2100HKD, which is around 175GBP.
