Rescue center first or I used this site a few weeks back while in the Uk, http://www.pets4homes.co.uk/%5B/url%5D, to get my mum a new pet.
She was specific on wanting a Bichon Frise and I managed to find a 4 month old puppy within a hours drive that was not from a breeder but a family who was sadly having to sell due to work circumstances.
My mum had previously taken on a rescues dog before, lovely mongrel who had a great life with her until she passed away from old age a year back.

it seems that the country has been largely f***ed by Yorkshire

Probably part of a long term plan for eventual independence.

You have to engage with the opposition, not just call them ****s.

People have different opinions, some times its fact based and sometimes it something that they just feel is right and fits with their moral or ethical view of life, there no need to call them idiots or worse because of that.

I still think it will go to remain anyway or a general election will be called and none of the main political parties will back initiating Charter 50, only UKIP who would never gain a majority in a general election.

Mostly ride in a hot humid environment so my shoes are usually humming after any 3 hour or more session and I find using my wife’s shampoo conditioner and a scrubbing brush does the job, wash the insole with the laundry.
Leave to dry with newspaper placed in a plastic bag in each shoe.

How often to UK folk say they are going to Europe for a holiday for example

…or that old Times Newspaper headline classic from the 50’s ‘Fog closes channel, Europe isolated’

Mate is going for the first time this weekend, in an RV with his kids.

How times have changed from when you had to give some scousers 20 quid to jump on their ladder to get over the fence.

For the sweepstake, I imagine it will be 57/44 for In.

Close but no cigar for the Outies but probably close enough for Boris & Gove to be retained by the Tories for fear of creating a splinter within and using them as chips for the promise of fighting the EU from inside.

For uplifts there is no reason not to wear the amount of armor you feel comfortable with, typically for me I don’t tend to wear a backpack for descents below 20-30 minutes so wear the usual helmet, knee and elbow pads along with a Race Face back protector similar to this but the vest version.
For non-uplift rides with a lot of climbing and rocky descents, typical in my neck of the woods, I stick with an EVOC backpack.

I cant wait for this to be over on Friday so we can all get back to arguing over wheel sizes again like a proper bike forum.

I think myself lucky, as a middle aged overweight male, to get in the top 10 on the odd occasion let alone getting a KOM, Hong Kong is small with not that many segments but it is full of competitive alpha male types. I would not want to try competing with the roadies either, that’s hard work.

Based on observations from a distance it seems that we are now in an era of negative campaigning where this referendum has gone from a simple ‘do you want to be in or out of the EU to a ‘if you vote so and so your a racist/an idiot/ etc’.

People like Trump don’t exist in a vacuum, they need a system in place to enable them and the politics of hate, almost like the Cultural revolution, enables this.

RE picture quality, most HD content is encoded and broadcast at a variable bitrate, meaning that sometimes the amount of data being transmitted is throttled down depending if the encoder feels it need to send extra data or not. In the old days of early Freeview HD I did some testing on this during Wimbledon week with DVB-T anaylser and found that prior to that BBC 1 HD was being transmitted at around 8-9Mbps but during the tennis it was upped to 12-14Mbps. I’m presuming this was to improve the quality of the image, a ball flying across millions of blades of grass is a tricky thing to capture digitally?
It may have changed in the years I stopped playing around with SMATV systems but you used to have only around 36Mbps of data per MUX (both DVB-T and DVB-S)in the UK, not much space to squeeze in a few HD channels and associated red button data and/or radio channels.

If we just accept it, accept the money that migration brings us and use it to improve the country, all our “problems” with it would go away

Can anyone actually provide a recent example in history where mass (not trickled or controlled) migration really benefited a host nation?

On a recent Chiang Mai trip my new Guide RSC’s gave up the ghost on the first day (turned out to be a warranty failure) so I popped into a local bike shop and bought a set of SLX’s, really cheap and worked perfectly for the 4 days there.

Just back from 9 days in the UK visiting friends and relatives, would say its about 80% Out, 20% In.

Surrey/Hampshire borders, typically blue voting areas, relatives/friends are a mixture of society from business owners, manual laborers to retirees.

One thing of note, from reading the STW threads, the Guardian online and local papers when there, is its all a little toxic and not in the spirit of past elections.

What happens if the referendum ends up with a 51-49 split for Remain, would that be considered a large enough margin to continue?

Currently on my 8th day visiting the UK, so far I have yet to meet a single person I know who is voting Remain, this is confusing me based on the feedback from here and reading the Guardian.

Also, is the Guardians reporting on this actually viral marketing for the upcoming Independence Day film, it certainly has an apocalyptic feel to it?

Why get car envy when with lease and other finance packages available now most people could get their hands on any car, they may not be able to actually afford to run the car, but they could own one.

Sounds more likely to be an aerial problem than the TV. Do you know it works / was working / has ever been used since the analogue switchoff?

This, are you sure the ANT source is actually connected to anything?

Do you have access to a Freeview Box that can be used as an alternative device to test the source?

Been back in the UK for 3 days now, have asked 8 friends/relatives how they are voting, all are Leave.
Currently staying in the Surrey/Hants border area so not sure if that indicative of any particular political learning bar it being a little blue in tint.
Also managed to take advantage of the extension to register to vote as I of course left it to the last minute to do this and of course couldn’t do this as the site crashed on the last day.
Have another week here and will be spending more time in that London village next week for both work and social reasons, will be interesting to see where my own poll sits at the end, the vibe I’m getting is that leave is ahead and the main points of unhappiness are immigration (perceived lack of control) and accountability of the EU politicians.

There is big scam, or scamola, at Bali where they close a lot of the immigration desks and try to charge you an additional 25USD to put you through the express queue, this is usually in operation when its very busy.
Took over an hour to clear.the queue last time I went there.
