Been doing a few long distance flights recently with Cathay and on my last one back from the UK had run out of any movie or comedy to watch so got into a whole season of the Sweeney, cracking entertainment, I had genuinely forgot how great this TV show was (A little before my time).

Book marking this as in need of a new lightweight helmet after cracking my Super recently, and not wanting another.
Apart from Kali Avatar, Bell Switchblade, POC Cortec and MET Parachute, any others, I’m looking for something to use in the tropics so useful 30 degree heat/90% humidity?

Have two two MTBs (SB5c & 601) but its been 7 weeks since I touched either as I’ve broken my collarbone. Work from home and live near some OK trails so I’m usually a 50-80km a week rider.
Road bikes are popular where I live, Lantau Island but I just don’t trust the car/lorry drivers here, there are a lot of fatalities involving roadies.

The minimum should be the tools needed to reassemble the bike but I typically throw in armor, shoes and the backpack, especially on the way back when these are usually honking.

Not a car person, and the last car I owned (an Alfa 159) was over 6 years ago but I am lusting after a Ferrari GTC4Lusso, my kind of practical runabout once I get that lottery win.

Thought he did OK on how we dealt with the immigration issue relating to Syria (putting money into the camps not encouraging reckless immigration), put his career on the line in regards to the referendum (a key part of his election pledge and the only opportunity the UK people had to voice their thoughts on the EU as all main parties were pro) and putting military action to the vote instead of arbitrarily going gung ho.
Otherwise a bit meh, the UK has had worse PM’s.

I got a 250 GBP happy ending in a massage parlor in Roponngi once, in my defense I was extremely drunk (and young & single at the time).

I will draw the line at buying a SC though, that’s ridiculous money.

Rubber B, isn’t that similar to the Spies Like Us ending?

Not 35mm but 30mm, cracked 3 rims in around 6 months, back to alloy again but if I went back to carbon I would probably go for Ibis or Enve where feedback relating to warranty replacements seems more positive.

I think that SC accounts for about 1/3 of all the bikes I see on the trails here in Hong Kong, they are so de rigueur…but being an ex. TRc owner I can see why they are popular and now the have changed that bottom pivot design I would consider one again.

    Middle aged mountain bikers.

Otherwise triathletes, the ones I know are crazy fit and have a crazy fitness level and competitive edge that filters down even to the amateur level

Doesn’t the un-follow option stop this kind of stuff?
Use FB mainly to keep up with friends and family but Whatsapp groups deals with most of the real stuff. I have a cousin who posts Britain First/UKIP stuff all the time alongside statements in capitals all the time, it doesnt bother me enough to un-follow, I just scan, take it in, compute then file in my memory in the appropriate folder (delete).

Yeti, just like the ride from the climbing to the descending, there is also a healthy tribe scene in Asia.
Owned 3 in the last 6 years and only broke one.
Also Liteville, currently running a 601 along with my SB5c, the detail on the frame is brilliant.

Like like Steve Coogan I think Ricky Gervais is going to be constantly coming back to the same character forever.

    Still a fan though.

I was paying 50 GBP rent a week from 17 and that was in 1989, but ultimately, its about one of two things, do you genuinely need the income to pay bills or is it about teaching her life skills?

My wife still gives her parents 20% of her salary and she is in her 40’s and lives with me, though Asian culture is a little different regarding family structures and responsibilities within it.

I use both depending on what I’m riding.
If its short DH runs where I don’t need a backpack then I have a Race Face vest with a back protector built in which I use as a layer, for all day rides where layers come on and and off depending on the weather conditions then an Evoc backpack.
For budgets purposes, if you had to choose either, then get the vest as you can then still use your existing backpack.

I have not spoken to my own father in some 18 years now, sometimes you do have to make the choice to move on and that it is better for you to not get involved with certain people again if possible. Judging by your description of your sister I would imagine that she would not want to play any part in helping your parents meaning you take on more of a burden but it may also mean that this is at least not made worse with her involvement.
As an aside, and very similar to Metalheart, I have a sister who I have no contact with at all bar the odd visit back to the UK, we get on but we have no emotional bond at all.
Its good to forgive and forget, but not to the detriment of yourself or those you hold dear as they will ultimately also be affected.

Live in a small flat and not allowed to tinker with any mechanical work inside by the boss so I’m pretty reliant on my LBS, luckily both are pretty good as I do give them regular business. Case in point, recently decided to swap over wheelsets and drive trains (shimano and SRAM) between bikes, my LBS did it for free as I threw in a new dropper post for one bike.
As someone who did his apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering I am confident on taking on any bike job, however if you dont have the space, time or confidence to take the job on #supportyourLBS

Buy some 2nd hand forks, new headset and put some Deore brakes on it and you have an OK budget bike?
    I wouldn’t ride down a black mountain rated trail with V brakes, but that’s just me, I’m a coward/sensible.

Mainly just wear Madison Trail shorts now, under 50GBP, hard wearing, lots of pockets and comes with an OK liner.
For Madison, the sizes seem spot on as well.

Thoughts? seemed more like a filler than a finale. That final scene though

Yes, but not a bad filler though they did rush through a lot very quickly to get everything in place for next season.

No spoilers but I think most people figured out Cersie’s fix for her current problems though the collateral damage was probably not what she was expecting.

Also, young Lyanna Mormont probably has more b***s than all the leaders of the North combined.

1989 was pretty special, I thought so anyway, so much happening and changing world wide, the end of the cold war, the Berlin wall, Tiananmen Sq, Poll Tax, Seinfeld starts, De Klerk becomes president of SA and starts the end of apartheid, the first ISP’s were bought into existence amongst a shedload of other stuff.

Currently no plans to return to the UK but it will be interesting to see how this plays out from afar over the next few months but due to the globalized nature of our environment, and the fact I still own property in the UK, I’m sure repercussions will be felt out here in Asia.
I’m sure in the long term realpolitik will come into play and through various shenanigans nothing will come of this vote.

Also, maybe people can stop complaining about voter apathy from now on as a lot of people seem upset when the electorate actually does get off their asses and votes!

Busted mine on the 1st of this month, bad landing as yourself and with a clean break.
In HK they are not keen to go the surgery route (pins)if it is a clean break, currently I am in a shoulder brace which looks similar to those underarm gun holsters 70’s detectives used to wear.
I am lucky as I work from home and could use some holiday up so the recovery has not been too bad and I have tried to limited the amount of time I spend out and about to limit the pressure i place on my left arm.
If it is affecting your work I would see if you can get it pinned, from feedback from friends it appears the best option to enable you to resume work and recover.

If you don’t see anymore bees then the chances are the wasps have taken advantage of their absence and have built a next inside, or if the bees are still there they are doing some foraging and stealing honey.
If they have taken over get them removed by a pest controller, had a couple of wasps nest in my old house in the past, absolute pain.

Probably for the best, 3 weeks of nothing, let the markets blow off steam, get everyone back to thinking about work, family etc, we are still in the EU at the moment, nothing will change for at least 2 years anyway if it changes at all.
Nothing has been achieved by acting in a panic, let the dust settle and then see what the mess is and go from there.
