Your putting more thought into it than Trump.
It would take more than 4 years, Trumps single term if he does get in, to withdraw all their military and actually terminate any existing mutual defense agreements in place, plus how is he going to pay-off of those soldiers that would lose their jobs and the military contracts that support all this effort?

Just like Loch Ness and UFO sightings, reports of ghost sightings seem to mysteriously drop as more people have access to mobile phones with cameras, however, dogging incidents seem to be on the increase?

RE Foreigners, why invest in grass roots football when you can bring in someone who is ready now, plus an agent can get a fee?

Wouldn’t the most obvious answer be to sack the members of the FA and replace them first, serious incompetence in recruitment and management starts at the top?

As for the following points from the newspaper article:
Criticised his predecessor Roy Hodgson, dubbing him “Woy” and saying that he “hasn’t got the personality” for public speaking – True
Said England’s players were underperforming because they had a “psychological barrier” and “can’t cope” – True, and probably related to the UK press
Suggested that players who were not being played for their club should not be picked for England – This should be obvious bar the amount of foreign players in the EPL means its hard for any English player to get regular team football at a top club
Described the FA decision to redevelop Wembley as “stupid – Very True, when England rotated around the country it gave a lot of people a chance to see and support them

As for Sam, is he doing anything that really undermines his main job bar a little consultancy on the side?

I’m still waiting for them to reimagine Westworld as a Cornish fishing village, where visitors can do anything they like as long as its spending 2 hours per day trying to find a parking space, paying over the odds at any local restaurant and queueing to empty the caravans toilet septic tank.

Yul Brynner walking down a corridor, his face fading in and out of the blackness, still remember that.

Trump-Clinton, if ever there was a sound reason for dictatorship its there, how did a country that gave us the Rooservolts, the Kennedys, Bush Snr and Obama get into this state?

Have you considered a Liteville 601, little more travel at the back (190mm) than you asked but a very capable feeride/AM/Enduro type bike, I run a medium and keep both wheels at 650b.
Mk2’s frames can be an absolute bargain, maybe even mk3’s as they have just released a Mk4?

Would love to have the cojones to do half those jumps but I’m a risk averse 44 year old, so I jump what I deem to give me a good mix of thrill but is within my ability.
Fair play to those who hit the big jumps though, but we don’t all get our kicks that way.

Sole westerner in a Chinese company so lots, but my favorite is that managers have to buy the bosses photography book every year (its for charity), his PA goes around with a list noting who has bought one.

The reason I say Heathrow is the worst airport in the world

None of your people used to fly out of the old Mumbai airport then?

Used to use Finnair a lot many years ago, found them to give great service though as other have said, sometimes its worth spending a little more money and just fly direct to avoid the faff.
Main problem I always have with connecting flights is that risk factor of not leaving enough time between flights to cover any late departure and being stuck at an airport waiting for the next flight.
As someone who spent most of last year living and working in Singapore and goes there regularly still, having friends and relatives there would be for me the only reason to go, terrible for mountain biking:)

Did mine on June 1st, was back riding (albeit flat stuff) after 56 days, on the 66th day I was back riding my normal trails albeit very cautiously.
Like you I had a clean break so the doctors just made me wear a brace for the first 6 weeks and then I removed that once they were happy the bone had fused correctly. After that I did acupuncture, chinese cups and very light weight training, still need a little physio work to get back to what I would say is 90% off my pre-break strength.
Think the first 6 weeks where I did my best to not do anything to stop the bones fusing were the most important, I even traveled back to the UK for 10 days soon after so I could just sit on my mums sofa and be spoilt 🙂
    On day 2….

With brace on day 5, took a while before I stopped bleeding into the bed sheets.

Don’t have a picture of the front but most of my left hand side chest was purple for a week or so.

Now sadly an exSB66c owner but I don’t think I can extol the virtues of this bike any better than the above sentiments. A classic do it all trail bike, I am fortunate not to live in a country with the weather and soil that can really bugger up bearings etc so I never had any issues in that respect and I only replaced the bike when I cracked the top tube dropping it off the side of a mountain.
Currently riding a SB5c, loving that also.

Gratuitous pic, OK, this ones from the Fujimi Panarama MTB Park in Japan 2013, not out of its depth on any of the DH runs there (the bike, not me).

I spent most of my youth dancing in a field but I’m pretty sure I did go to some clubs in the Aldershot/Guildford area in the late 80’s/early 90’s but I just cant remember, either old age or I’m mentally suppressing something?

Control67, was working there mostly in the 90’s, not sure I’m allowed back

This was down the road from the school, nice to be refreshed prior to the GCSE exams.

When I finaly hit 18, did bar work at the weekend here, part Masons temple, part grunge bar.

Since 2010 after moving out here, 4 bikes (Trek 3500, Yeti ASR-5 & SB66c and a Mach6) plus 1 frame (SB5c) but I had to buy another 2 frames via the internet (Stanton & Liteville) as I couldn’t source locally.
My local LBS is brilliant, so both the outsourced frames were delivered straight to them to carry out the fitting.

Just been through this exercise, having to get copies of GCSE’s, AS, City&Guilds and BTEC’s vertificate from over 20 years ago while living in Hong Kong was not easy and took age so I wish you luck.
One thing that did make things easier was contacting the various schools and colleges and getting their exam number and the list of the different bodies that might hold the exam results, after that its an exercise in on-form filling and getting your credit card out.

HK is OK but I would heed others advice and just get to your destination as quickly as possible if you only have 3 weeks….. and that destination should be NZ.

Did 4 days at the Fujimi Panarama Bike Park in 2013, its about 3-4 hours drive from Tokyo. Should still be open as a bike park before switching to skiing for the winter.
Not bad, has 4 runs and is serviced by cablecar and the on-site bike shop has rental bikes in good condition to use, plus the on-site restauatrant is good and you will not need a guide.
Its more DH orientated but from my experience, on a 150mm travel bike, its more high speed than big drops.

Can’t really relate to serous injuries but I have spent some time in Hong Kong hospitals due to mountainbiking, recent case was after breaking my collarbone in June.
Government hospital, maybe waited about 20 minutes after triage before I was prep’d for xrays, then within 2 hours of prodding etc I have a bed for the night in a shared ward (this was a government hospital).
Apart from my wife having to bring a phone charger, only Cantonese TV being available and me being the centre of interest for the other 7 patients relatives during visitors hours it was a pleasant stay.
Left the next day with a crackin brace, some painkillers that could knock out an elephant and a reservation to see an occupational therapist for the princely sum of 100 HKD, about 9 GBP.
This is typical of my other visits, either just A&E or overnight, though the private healthcare matches that in the UK also (wife has great company healthcare available to spouses).

I have a massive problem with rear mechs as I seem to destroy a couple a year and am looking at the Zerode with interest.
If they could find a way to standardize the gear mechanism (similar to BB standards) so that they could be interchangeable, this and more electronic control would be my guess for the immediate future.

Weather was a little mild, late 20’s, so went for a solo 40km loop around a bit of Lantau Island, lovely day.

Took the Liteville to a make a workout of it and have a crack at some of the DH bits.
