You can get spares as I bought the kit

I think I still have it somewhere and would be happy to part with it for a tenner, think it was about £25 new

Will have a look, drop me an email on sjparfitt(at)fsmail.net

Now, I’m not going to claim to know too much about this but….

It will be a long slog up and I don’t think there is any way of doing it with cars. I wouldn’t try gettin.g up using the pyg or miner tracks as there are lots of steps and some climbing.

When we walked it there were some guys on beefy downhill bikes, they wore full face, they would be good just to keep the wind off your head

    Enjoy!

    Cheers for the replies guys

    I am based in Portsmouth

I am only buying a fame as all the parts are coming off my Whyte E120 (apart from forks) I already have a Joplin post so it has layback, the Whyte was a small and I found this too big and the reach was too long, I went from 80, 70 and then to 50mm reach.

I think I will have to get out there and try a few, like everyone has said, its a lot of money!!

    Cool

    Cheers guys

I am prob gonna get the small, I prefer smaller frames so reckon i will get on better with it

Plus, I have found a 2010 one new for £1000 frame and shock

well, got back from a ride today and had the bike up on a Thule 530 I think, it had a side clamp system which seemed to work fine (no side to side play) but wanted to see if there was anything else

I do have a 15mm front axle so the one above might be a go-er
