    Thanks Harry 🕷
I used to do models years ago but those were the basic Airfix 1:72’s (apart from a 1:24 Spitfire).
I guess spraying is the best way to finish them but can you get by without a spray gun? Don’t think I could justify the added cost too..
    I’d like to do a 1:48 Tomcat :-)

Been thinking of having a go at doing a model as will have time to spend on it.

Is there a basic tool kit someone could recommend? Don’t want to spend loads..
And which manufacturers do the best kits?

I held the ‘jumping over people’ and ‘jumping over people backwards’ records at the local roller disco (13 people side by side forwards, 10 people side by side backwards) on proper wheels-at-the corners skates.

    Thanks all.

    Had this response from Ebay:
Hi there! Thanks for reaching out. We’re in the process of removing items that appear to be attempting to profit from the current health crisis. Visit http://bit.ly/2PSQhw5 for more information on actions we’re taking. ~Brianna

Looks like they’re doing something about it..

What sir requires is a wreath hanger. Straighten out the bend, drill a couple of holes and screw onto the dart board..

Driving past Eastnor Castle one day my good lady asked if it was where the king & queen of Ledbury used to live.

Sat on the porch one summer evening, I spotted a bat in my peripheral. “Ooh, a bat” said I, “No it’s not” said she…
    “Yes it is” I responded..
    “Can’t be” was her reply..
    “Why not?” I enquired..
“Bats only come from Transylvania” was her answer… 🧛🏼‍♂️

I don’t, or ever will, have Sky so £35 for a year seems like a bargain to me.

It’s not a Sky thing, It’s Disney’s own channel with all Disney stuff, Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar…

Placed the order and cashback now tracked :-)

Well, disappointment set in last night.
None of the other kits are complete and a few broken pieces :-(
I think I’ll just whack it on eBay as a job lot.

Whenever a gun thread is started am I the only one to find them distasteful and if I’m honest a little strange ?

You don’t have to read them. Maybe just shake your head at the screen or give a little ‘tut’ then move on?

My father-in-law has been through a similar thing recently, well it’s still ongoing.
His boss was a massive cock and, following the f-in-l’s diagnosis for Parkinsons, did as much as he could to get rid of him coming to a head by threatening gross misconduct. He eventually resigned with 3 months pay.
He is currently in a process with his house insurance’s legal aid to look at how he was treated and they are looking into constructive dismissal and think he has a very good case.
Do you have evidence of his behaviour?
Might be worth a chat with your insurance to see if they can offer any help.
His solicitor seems to be very clued up on things.

    Are you talking about sleepers

    Yes, new oak sleepers (2.4m x 200mm x 100mm)
Might have got the table saw bit wrong but the b-in-l says he has the kit in the workshop to cut them, no problem.

Not a birthday present but my great auntie gave me her late husband’s Omega DeVille a few years ago.
Took it in for a service and asked if they could get some info on age etc.
Turns out it was made in the year I was born. It’s 46 :-)
It’s not a watch I would choose if I was buying but it’s a lovely watch and comes out on ‘suit days’ and family events
It’s an heirloom I guess and it’s nice to talk about where it came from when people comment on it.
