Not sure why you would wrap presents for the 25th if the world will end on the 21st. Unless you are planning on opening them on Thursday night you rebel.

Bit of a cop out with the team award.

Thought the Ryder cup team were it, I mean team gb are not really a team in the true sense.

Good to see dave win the coach of the year

Starting on Christmas Day, we open 1 present a day, leaving the last till New Year’s Day. So starting the new year with a gift.

Might want to think about the fact not everyone can afford £1000+ bikes, and for many folk a £100 bike will do just as good a job for them.

No doubt the kids who get them for Christmas will live them and might just get turned on to cycling.

Get yourself located in east ren somewhere.

Good schools and a better class of ned. Try whitecraigs, eaglesham, Newton means, giffnock, williamwood, hazeldean to name but a few of the nicer places.

You are 15 miles from Killy using the cycle path from NM.

House prices are a bit more than the likes of Kilmarnock, but for good reason. Seriously you owe it to your kids not to go to a school in Killy.

I find the aldi ones almost too hot, I only use them when the temp is below zero.

For the price they just can’t be beaten, not sure about how waterproof they are, never used them in the rain.

300kgs, or 3kN point load is not to be taken lightly.

I can’t see how you can lift this with just a piece of flat bar.

    There must be another solution.

I think it’s power meter look a bit out, no way is he producing 450W in the small ring and middle sprocket at that cadence.

Still wouldn’t say no to it if I got it as a prezzy.

A 3m length of steel with those properties will bend under its own weight let alone with any load.

How much load does it have to take and is here no other way of adding a web to the flat, to form an angle or a tee.

I can work backwards from the loads and maximum deflection and calculate what size you need but I fear it’s a re design rather than different materials. You don’t get much stiffness with 6mm.

At 50 years old you should know better.

    Wrong way round.

    05 years old.

Probably something to do with you typing that in English. And pretty much all the freedoms you take for granted. Paid in full 10 times over.

And the reason we are so flecked up as a country is because the under 40 year olds were sold a lie that we can have it all. Most pensioners will have only ever had a mortgage as debt.

They will probably have give more to society than anyone under 30 will ever give.

With a bit of luck hopefully most of you lot complaining will not make it to 65, save the country paying your pensions. Not that I wish a horrible plague on you………

Problem is nothing beats the original, bunch of slack jawed faggots.

Would rather watch A vs P than the one with Danny Glover, now it was pants.

At least 3 decent ideas, well done.

Tesco home delivery might be the ticket, or parcel delivery, their is a parcel place about 5 mins from my house.

I’m in the same boat, thinking the £5 wrapped up might be just the ticket.

. Oh, and I dont oil my chain, just WD40 after I wash it. I found oiling it just made the mud and grit stick to it.

Ditto, I use GT85 after washing the bike, have done for 25 years, never had a problem. Bike chains need very little lubrication due to the fact there is very little heat build up. In my experience what kills chains is letting moisture sit on them and allowing them to rust.

    WD or GT works well.

My Paternal Grandfather was a POW of the Japanese. He was bitter. Really, really.

He wouldn’t get in a japanese car. If someone called to his house in a Japanese car he’d make them move it.

When he came back he was 4 and a half stone. He hated them as a race until he died. I think he earned his opinion.

I guess it shows that you will always reap what you sow.

The Japanese really did some awful things.
