So I’m going for the Smiths. I seriously have never been able to get what that’s about. I’ve never heard a Smiths song that didn’t make me cringe at how ridiculous the people are who think they’re great. Normal, sensible people who I respect will tell me Morrisy is some sort of genius when it’s clear to my dog he’s misguided, naive and childish. The songs all sound like a whining teenager bitching about his pocket money and he’s so up his own bum I just want to slap some sense into him.

Oh boy do you speak the truth. I would do time for the Smiths if i had a baseball bat and a spare 10 mins. :D

    Gilmour is a fantastic guitarist,
    Is he?

Anyway influential was the claim – and who wanted to be glimour? copy his paying style?

IMO he is no where near the greats

    Some times you talk pi5h

But its not your fault that you have no taste, its your upbringing. 8)

I think Ae is a great trail, Omega Man is fab, Grannies Green love is the biz. Could do with a bit more singletrack instead of the fire road before grannies green love.

I was surprised how “dry” Kirro seemed today even after 3 days of heavy rain.

Most of the trails stand up pretty well, its what they are made for, Newcastelton will probably be the driest.

Unfortunatly black trail is a step too far for me, the bit i did was fine but there were a couple of rocky sections that i had to walk down. Also am noty fit enough to do the whole route right now.

I actually really liked the blue/red parts of the trail the best, they justed seemed to flow nicely, it seemed to come off and on the fire road quite a bit too.

    Definatly prefer Mabie, and Ae.

Will have a go next year and hopefully do the whole black too.

Clio dci gets between 68-74mpg for a tank depending on how much about town i do.

Usually fill it up at about 680miles but probably could got to about 750 for the tank.

    Great wee runner.

mastiles_fanylion £26k seems a fair bit for what you got.

Seems like the kind of thing you could do yourself over a few weeks in the summer with some help from a builder mate!

Not to say its not nice, just doesnt seem like good value.

Anyone who thinks the US system is good needs there head examined.

But not in the US as the care would not be as good and it would cost you a shed load.!!!

Woody the Teachers pension scheme is also in surplus, and the new deal in 2007 stated that any deficit would be paid for by the teachers.

The change in the inflation calculations have made a massive difference to how affordable the pensions are.

Mortgage, council tax and basic utilities account for about 60% of my take home.

Things are pretty tight in the Whyte household right now, not looking forward to the next few years and my pay freezes with inflation the way it is.

At least i will have payed my bike off in May next year so thats another £50 per month.

Hopefully things will get better in a few years, at least i still have a job so im not feeling to bad about things.

So yet again i have to pay so the the big banks can get their balance sheets sorted and the shareholders can get more payoffs.

Tories looking after their own at the expense of the ordinary man.

As far as im concered i signed up to an employment contract that included a pension, how can they change this without any comeback.

Work as a teacher untill im 69!!! who knows what they will try and put it up to over the next 10 years 75!!

Not all average ages are the same in the UK, Male from Glasgow overweight and left handed, im lucking if i see 65!!!

They just want me to dies before i get any pension. FFS i am paying £200 a month for my pension as it is.

This is one issue that will not be swept under the carpet.

Take all your staffing budget and spend it on GPs consultants and NHS managers instead of the people who really make a difference day to day.

Tony Blair really did it when he decided to give all his Doctor mates a massive pay rise for working less. Oh how the doctors must have laughed.

Took out my revenge on local dog walker a couple of days later who I saw not picking up after their dog. I knew where he lived so contacted the council enforcement officer who paid him a visit with a £50 fixed penalty notice. Result – made me feel much better.

I prefer the old tried and tested route of scooping it up with a plastic spade and throwing it in their faces.
I fooking hate dogs and even more so owners who dont pick up the %hite, worse is in the park where my kids play. I need to stop typing as i am getting angry about this whole issue.

I struggling to really see how you can justify the 146 over the 120. The 120 just looks like such good value. And is a price that most people would be able to scrape together the funds.

Yes not scoring with 2 lineouts right on the try line was poor, but they were the better side for 80% of the game.

Well i think 1 stupidly obvious offside decision in the Argintena game actualy cost us. Objectivly we did play well enough to win that match. De Luca has cost Scotland too many points over the past 3 years.

I got mine a few days ago, and while i cant comment on the quality of Hope or similar lights im pretty impressed with it. Seems well enough made to me. Time will tell when i get it out on the trail.

Robinson has done a lot fot he Scottish team, night and day from Hadden, but there were some dodgy selections for sure.

De luca quite frankly is a joke and should never have even made the selection to go to NZ, i am fed up of watching him make shocking mistakes time after time. He should be sacked im fed up paying for him with my tickets.

Rory Lamont is a great full back and definatly should have played more Paterson has had his day, he actually played decent rugby in the six nations but its a world cup too many for him.

The forwards were very good, gave fantastic dislpayes agains Argintena and England, the front row of Jacabson Ford and murry were fantastic, the first half agains England they ripped the English front row apart.

Kellock should have played all the games, he is a great captain and was brill aginst England.

Was disapointed by Grey, thought he would have played better.

Back row were below par too.

The biggest casulty of the world cup should be Gregor Townsend, he needs to go.

Scotland should have been in he 1/4 finals they played well enough but its probably as far as they would have gone.
