If anyone would know if class sizes make a difference it would be teachers. So you would think the the government would ask them, but no.

It’s funny really how the last group to get asked their opinion on education is teachers. You have to ask why that is.

Just show how poorly paid even the top 10% of earners are. That’s amazing I would never have thought.

Funny how the government tell us that if we want the best bankers then we have to pay them millions, yet if we want the best teachers or nurses then you have to pay them poorly and blame them for just about every issue in society.

Want the best education system? Then pay for it.

Ksyrium Elites just seem to be the best all round package to me, especially if you can get hem with a bit of discount.

The only other I would look at is the American classic aero 420 but they are a bit higher priced.

Im really not attacking you or teachers, as I initially said I haven’t a problem with your holidays,salary or the expectation of a good pension.Im just pointing out how teachers seem to come over on this thread and many other connected to teaching.

Mate and i were looking at this a few weeks ago then saw the price and thought **** that. Seems way way too much.

Will be doing he coast to coast road ride in the summer next year, much more like it cost wise.

Thing is on a road bike the energy you have to disapate could be much greater due to the higher speed. 1/2mv^2 n all that.

I cant help but think they are a solution to a problem that does not exist.

The current crop of road brakes from 105 up really are very good, ok you can remove a bit of weight from the rim and lighten the wheels but it really makes bugger all difference. As you have to add additional weight and strengthining to other areas.

Is it better as a mid layer?

See none of that would have happened on a 29er.

Looks good but a bit heavely focused on the far north.

Any others like that, quite fancy some nice cycling tee shirts but not overly keen on any of them.

Used my heated front screen about three times. No idea why everyone goes on about it.

Nothing to contribute about Yetis though, but I do wonder what fuel economy people get in real life?

I guess you don’t live north of Watford.

Heated screen is a god send, I used to have one and miss it lots. I would use it 4 times a week between oct and march

Yes I don’t fancy that on a single speed, takes me all my effort to get my 29er with 26/36 up it. At least I managed it without getting out the saddle last time.

I can’t imagin what a single speed with a 32/22 or similar would be like. Quads like Chris Hoy or weigh about 3 stone.

The highlight shows for these events really need a bit longer when you add in the advert breaks. A 2 hr evening show is more like it.

It’s been such a great summer of cycling on the tv. ITV4 should be congratulated for everything it has done this year, including the cycle show, which really did improve, they need to keep it up.

Bring back the city centre cycling and get some mountain biking and cyclo cross on too. Also some decent BMX as the olympic stuff was great to watch.

I fancy one of those jags, fortunately I’m a teacher and can afford one. 🙄

I love my 2012 model, looks like the spec is slightl lower, not sure about the prices.

I much prefer the paint scheme on mine.

Try and save as much as you can over. Next few months and look at whet you can cut back.

Dont be too proud to take a filler job, even stacking shelves has its rewards. If you could live for a year with your redundancy, cutback and some lower paid work then you should have ample time to get back in the race. Thi k of the savings of not travelling 100 miles a day.
