Mine is 24 miles each way. Only do it from April to July three times a week, any more and I am to tired to go out a club run or do any mountain biking at the weekend.

Pretty busy trunk road, so it’s not the nicest journey.

GrahamS you are one luck man.

If only it had the correct size of wheel it would be the prefect bike

Good point, but as long as you do actually have a wife and kids and are not using this as some sort of sick lazy sloth like joke.

I will be checking out for all the wives next time I ride past the BN car park.

Was at Ae last week was great. Went down the shredder, the climb up to top was great.

    Proper hard core riding.

I wouldn’t want to ride about there without a few mates. Too many nuggets who would rather take than earn.

I recorded 10 tdf stages and about 5 vaulta stages for use this year with the turbo. Going to try one of the sufferfest DVDs, probably the interval one.

Sitting for an hour on a turbo at a steady pace is not an easy thing, fair play to guys who can do 3 or 4 sessions a week.

I am hoping to be able to do my long ride at the weekend, 1 turbo session and probably out for a jog.

I will be doing well if I can do 2 turbo session a week.

Fussy, seemed very easy to me, but they deffo don’t seem to keep the dirt out compared to others.

I guess you could always leave if you don’t like it, after all that’s the free market way is it not.

Just fitted a red ceramic one to my Cervelo I hope it lasts a bit longer.

On the plus side it was easy to fit, plastered a fair bit of grease around it.

The base layers are great, go t some last year.

Got the merino top, so will see how that goes, also got some socks and the overshoes.

The top and jacket looked a bit crappy, so I side stepped them. Ordered some pearl Izumi stuff a few days ago so should be fin for everything now. Well might be tempted by a nice endurance windchill jacket.

25mile time trial. that’s nuts i can’t really get my head round that, i know what it’s like to sit in a group at 22mph and even go solo for 24mph for a short period of time but those kind of times are beyond comprehension.

Hardly worth comparing with one of the best time trial bike riders ever..

Anyone who can average in the 20 for an e tended period is a fast rider. Our intermediate group in the club averages about 18-20, the fast group is 20+.

I have done the trail leaders course, while not a skill course as such I found it very useful. Going to do the MBL course when I get the chance.

We had pretty much nothing in common, soon after she said “Huh, who TF is Tom Selleck?!” (don’t ask!) I realised that there was already a generational gap between us

    Pmsl seriously that is funny.

It’s not a great situation. His life is in tatters, she will probably be over it in a few months. He was well past stupid, not sure what its called but there you go.

It’s surprising how many times this happens and the two parties actually go on get married and have a good life together, usually the age gap is not quite 15 years mind.

I fail to see the problem current brakes have that disks will improve.

Seems an awful faff to me.

Teachers still not good enough, though a little more effort. 4/10.

Oh come on now, that vid post in the previous page was so on the ball. It was like being back at school for yet another waste of time conversation with a deluded parent.

    Must be 6/10 at least.
