If you weigh over 90kgs you will never be good in the hills.

If you are above 15% body fat you will never be good in the hills.

The first one you might never be able to change short of cutting an arm off.

The second one costs nothing to change and will by far have he biggest effect.

If you are under 15% b/f then you just need to get out and ride some hills, try and pick a gear you can stay in the saddle all the way then over time you can use 1 gear more and go up quicker.

Focus on steep road hills not off road where technique, tyres and power are all important factors in getting up a climb fast.

If you had decided that she is moving out, then do it quick, don’t wait as things could go down hill. The space will do you both good, and make the times that you do see each other more productive.

By all accounts it’s a great little car, you might not get the best mpg with it, if you want 60+ mpg go for the diesel.

I tend to do less mtb ing and more road in the winter, stick to fire roads if I am out on the mountain bike.

So as I understand it, the government thinks that a union should have to get a majority of all their members to vote in favour of strike action for the vote to have any validity. However, it’s absolutely fine for police commisioners to get in with a majority of the 10% who turned out.

It just doesn’t sound like a nice route to ride. Many years ago I used to ride down the a77 to Troon from Glasgow, I was young and stupid, and even 20+ years ago it felt unsafe and fast.

When marking up a route card it’s much easier to think of 500m to next turn and read that off the computer.

I know some people find it challenging to swap between both systems but once you have enough experience and have improved your skills enough then you might be able to do it too.

Eh! I can’t think of a better more sustainable way of funding the trails. It cost £3 for a days parking, seriously if people think that’s too much then they need to call it a day .

All the infrastructure needs upkeep from the trails to the car park and roads, kids play parks, BBQ areas. I get a lot out of the FC and m happy to pay my way.
