I guess the owner can at least spell Porsche. Might be why he/she is driving one.

As for performance related pay, just how would you benchmark this?

Most teachers I work with go above and beyond and would earn significantly more if liked to performance.

Besides its not about big pay rises, just keeping up with inflation, that includes them robbing our pensions.

Great stuff, now following the private sector model I should be looking forward to some per prance related pay, and a bonus this Christmas.

Oh wit a moment, no it will be yet another year, the 5th in a row where pay has fallen in real terms. Just the way to attract smart new graduates into the profession. Oh how I laugh as they continue to choose accountancy, law, medicine et al!!

Our 6th place will be 10th next time this report is published and will fall more.

Asda are doing them, saw at weekend not sure of price as I have winter tyres so no need for them. Being Asda they are bound to be cheap.

It’s not under £100 but the kindle fire looks good. Not sure how good it is in use but it promises much.

Ditto the sentiment towards folk that have never experienced the atmosphere of a fully charged footy grudge match, yet cast aspertions towards it.

Lols where are these people, do you know any.

Steve do you have anything constructive to say?

Funny I was thinking the same of you, put another record on.

We have one of the newer ones, it’s a very good car. Nice inside handles well and pretty nippy. It’s the diesel one. It’s not that economical however, I get about 28mpg about town and 38 on a run as long as I keep it under 70. It’s easy to go much quicker on the m-way.

Space is good, the seats are heavy to take in and out, our next one will go for seats that fold down when not in use.

I think the older one is slightly longer.

It is a heavy car, so will use brakes and tyres and fuel!

Have to laugh at folk suggesting a football match is anything other that tedious.

I was at my inlays this weekend who have sky. Funny thing is I decided to watch it on the beeb, I think they have done F1 proud over the past few years and really should not have let it go the way they did.

This will probably be the last few years F1 will ever be one council telly.

What would you prefer to break – your frame or your mech ? Your hanger has done exactly what it is supposed to do.

    What he says…

Why not get a custom made one in hardened steel and we can all laugh when you start a thread, my cube frame has just broken.

Why not buy more than one at a time and you won’t have to wait for a replacement.

At times the ABs look quite vulnerable when a team is attacking them in the forwards down the middle. Scotland really did that well a few weeks ago and Wales really put a lot of pressure there too. Should have got 1 more in the second half.

Dumfries and Galloway has some of the best cycling in the country, not just mtb but great road riding quiet mile and miles of roads.

I use a Roland TD-12 at home for practise. It’s a nice kit, a few years old now but is more than capable of gigging, easy just to plug into a pa and go.

If you are going for an electronic kit then get something good enough to gig with, even if you think you will always be using an acoustic kit. I have joined to two together on the odd occasion.

Problem is you have to be spending upwards of £2k to get something decent new.

It was a bit bollox, as skyscrapers will not get blown over by the wind, but the structures will move and become unpleasant to work/live in.

Not in 100 years would the shop owner think the op was anal about the look of his bike with the state of hat car crash, even if I got the headset for free I wouldn’t fit it and mi Scottish. I’m not even going near the cables. In fact I no longer want to all about it, as I am scared I wake up in he middle of the night in a cold sweat crying for my mum.

I’m a bit confused why you can run lower pressure with tubes. It’s not like you are going to be running 25 psi is it. Low on a road bike would be 70psi and you can do that with no issues using tubes.

Tubeless on a road bike is a solution to a problem that doesn’t exist.

I just can’t see the point on road bike.

I’ve had 1 puncture this year, it was my fault for running tyres too long and almost worn.

Buy the right tyres and you really don’t need to worry about punctures.

To be honest there really is the square root of fleck all between any of them.

Don’t spend any more that £20 on a chain and replace it every 1000 miles
