    @woodster (or anyone else) that no longer needs their 27.5 hope rear boost wheel. I’d be interested. 30/35. Most hub variations considered. Thanks 🙏

    I just picked up a ?2017 womens d1 arkrose secondhand, for the gf. Can anyone please tell me which mudguards work best for a c40mm x 700c tyre? Looking for full length guards. They are the carbon forks with the single mount halfway up the leg and a mount hole under the fork arch. No mount near the front wheel qr dropouts.
    Many thanks

    Do you need to get reducers made specifically for a given hub or are they generic?

    Many thanks, thats great infomation. I havent got much time to look into detail now but I will this evening. Looking at this, I feel I wil need the following;
    10 spd shifter
    10 spd rear mech with clutch
    11-36 cassette
    NW chainring (30t gives low gear similar to what I have now but I guess I will lose high gearing).
    42t extender cog
    RAD Cage or similar

    Not sure of costs yet but is it al worth it?

    I think the interest free cc option is a no go as well but I will mention it. The trek doesn’t quite fit the bill but the way radon looks very I interesting. What’s the frame build quality like and has anyone tried to get finance from them?

    After looking at many campers, this has been near on perfect us;

    Its one of the best I’ve seen for mtb’ing and travels.

    We’ve had it for a few years and due to job changes, we no longer get the time off needed to justify it. So its for sale, if anyone is interested.

    Its on ebay.

    Ahh yes, I forgot about Delamere. Not been there for a while, defo worth a look, thanks.

    I’ve ridden those at Lee Quarry and the only ones that looked any good just dont seem to flow for me i.e, jumps straight after a berm where is hard to maintain the speed. Agree the new run down to the entrance is a bit better.

    Any more location details for those in Southport, Torridon and Wester Ross?

    Keep em coming :-)

    It would appear that they are in, just not answering the phone. I received an email saying;

    ‘Hello we are flat out at the moment sorting deliveries and returns made via the website. Please email your problem for the quickest response

    We apolagise for the delay in getting back to you we have been very busy over the last few days due to the Jan sales’.

    That number is for ‘We Buy Any Car’!

    Still no answer today. Not really a good way to run a business.

    If they are away, it’s not that difficult to leave a message saying so. Grrrrrr

    I’m not publicly complaining about SSC. I just find it very frustrating that they don’t answer the phone.

    Thanks for the number, I will try it in the morning.

    I will be considering both new and second hand so discontinued models may still be a possibility.

    I’m thinking they would all have the same design but maybe not.

    I was looking at the Remedy’s in general and didn’t have a specific one in mind at this stage.

    Thanks for the help :)

    Please, please, please get in touch regarding the GPS route for the GR5. The gf and I are going out in 4 weeks and this would be perfect.

    Intense SS with 135mm dropouts. Came with adapter/spacer things for either qr, 10 or 12mm axles. I have a pair of wheels with Hope Pro 2's I will be putting on it. The rear is setup for 135mm qr. I was just wondering if I should beef it up a bit and how I should do it?

    Maxle? Heard of it. Guessing its like a maxle front 20mm with a qr type lever. What size are they in the rear and where do you get them?

    Arr, they refer to a year/month code. Thank you druidh. I was wondering if they also indicated if they were 6 or 7mm bearing cups.

    If anyone knows where to get the 6mm bearings, please let me know.

    Also, thanks for the other info. I knew most of that but one or two useful things in that, especially using my headset press to press the bearings in the bb cup. Top tip :))

    Adrian flux – not had to make a claim but have been very happy with them. However, they will only insure fully campered vehicles, i.e, fixed sink table, bed etc…
