The seatpost is definitely the correct size, I think it’s the constant seat dropping that’s caused fatigue.

It’s a 10 year old frame so well out of warranty, I think it’s just fatigue from the QR seatclamp.

I don’t think Argos do Aluminium repairs but did find this guy.

Plenty of post left in the frame, I did look at cutting it but the seatclamp would overlap the top of the tube.

That’s really nice, do you mind me asking how much it was?

It oxidises a little, but you can hardly notice it. Anodisation is an oxidised layer.

Not too keen on the polished look, prefer matt raw. Might try the cutting compound before I take the plunge though.

Your bars are out of alignment….

I’d be more worried about the lack of brake hoses :D

    Valves and logos!

Not my valves or logos

I stopped buying food in there after finally getting fed up of finding drool on all of my bakery goods.

    That wasn’t drool.

Yeah, Post was upside down with lever depressed, and it is the remote version, but I checked that the cable was slack at the top of the post. I’m thinking it may not have enough oil? or I’m just too heavy for it :(

I use a case with mine so none of the waterproof ones fitted, in the end I got this which fits fine if you add some extra padding inside.

We put her in front of a mirror and make aaaahhh & eeeee sounds which works some of the time, the rest of the time she just wants to suck the toothpaste off the toothbrush :? Don’t make a big deal of it, just give them a really good scrub when they will let you.

    What about the orange ones?

Orange looks great on the right coloured bike, the up sweep and back sweep are spot on for me, as is the width, I just bought the black tree one for my other bike.

Edit: Just need the orange pedals in this pic to go with it.

Already have the rootbeer ones on my next to buy list :D

your lawn could do with reseeding though.

I’ll get the gardener on the case immediately.

Can I also suggest green headset, seatpost clamp & hubs, with maybe some orange QR skewers?

    Green??? Really?

Tyres will go eventually, they were just some old ones that I had lying about, the new Schwalbe Hans Dampf look good.

Thanks for the other comments :D

Yeah, I just got an email back from Ragley (very promptly, I only sent it this afternoon), there will be a replacement but not until much later in the year, guess they’re fairly busy at the moment.

Are there any other 140mm aluminium frames for around the £300 mark?

The Troof seems to take 160-180mm forks though, the blue pig does look good, but I was really after aluminium, wish I had bitten the bullet when CRC were doing them at £154 now :(

Thanks, so would I need to change any seals or is it just the oil?
