Its connected by ethernet cable to the fibre modem. Literally the old router works fine. Remove it, connect the same cable to the new one and it just wont recognise the broadband connection….

Love mine. I run pike fork. 1×10 xt with xt brakes. Nice wide race face bar and short stem, hope flow ex wheels reverb and some green bits. Bb is a press fit which nearly made me not buy it! Headset sits in the cups/not pressed in. Great riding bike and the steel is quite forgiving but stiff latterly.

I run storm controls on the anthem. Not too bad rolling and plenty of mud shedding ability. £30 each a bit of a bargain and easy set up tubeless.

I would advise against it. News here is constantly talking about unprepared climbers having to be rescued and at that time of year it will be at least windy as **** and most likely icy and snowy.

We had a few break ins round our area recently, despite it being a nice area. I investef in ground anchors, motorbike chains and disc lock alarms. Still parra though so long term is to convert the garage to a room with a secure front door like the rest of the house. Just making it obviously hard for people seems to work a lot…

I went to guitar guitar with up to £600 to spend and walked out with an epiphone ej 200 at only £300….this was after trying about 10 closer to my original price and found the cheaper epi the best sounding to me and the comfiest!(even though its huge). If looking at 1500 to 2000 might be worth trying a few around the 1000 point just in case??

Love true romance. Mate walked down the isle to hans zimmers “your so cool” from this film. All the 90s tarintinos were full of top actors, pulp fiction probobly the highest profile.

+ another for Scotoiler fs365. I have almost immaculate gears and chain, get ages out of chains and casettes. After all if its good enough for a motorbike, spinning faster with more torque and likely in more wed conditions its good enough for my mtb)

I had a 1983 Xr3i which was amazing when I was in my late teens but I never could get the RS and would have loved one!

Had a 172 for years. Loved it. Great car and if you buy one from cliosport likely to have been looked after. Its fast actually quite well specced with electric everything and great seats. V plastic inside though. Phase 2 172 full fat the best and for preference in iceberg silver….

The logical and cold way i would say is whoever is at fault. If everyone was following the rules of the road no accidents would happen….its still one heck of an arguement…

Sounds like you are trying to go work direct for a company after working for them through agency? You meed to have envoked the extended period of hire at beginning of contract OR be out of contract with the firm for over x weeks to go back, x must be defined in tbe agencies terms.

Despite being reasonably handy i am banned from fitting pedals to bikes. I have stripped the threads on 2 brand new cranksets and managed to turn a pedal the wrong way to take off so hard the insert started spinning…

Ridden both. Shan better. Watch the sizing though!

It has a vertical compliance in the rear triangle which reduces a lot of trail buzz. I initially had mine running 26 wheels but changed dropouts and now running 650b.

It looks awesome as well, love mine

West highland way but do over 3 days. Or great glen way easilly doable in 1. Ggw is straightforward, whw quite technical in places.

I run 2 sets of wheels on my hardtail, a set of handbuilt hope/flow ex and a cheapo set. The cheap set has mud tyres on. It was a bit of an outlay as i needed 2 sets of discs and 2 casettes but it means if its ming riding conditions its a 2 seconds swap to muddies with no sealant issues. Just remember to move both sets about every so often.

watching with interest as I have a stealth nomad and I would really struggle to see a small crack develop

“Just my opinion, the front was lifting all the time and made climbing a bit of a nightmare especially if it got technical, also suffered from a lot of pedal strikes.:

that says to me your shock was running too much sag/too soft.

Early 2000s. Some mates from a car club were going biking in dumfries and wanted me to come and another had just bought a hardrock sport to cycle to work so it was peer pressure. . I decided to take the plunge and bought a fully rigid specialized hardrock. I think from ebay but not 100%. I rode carron valley then glentress full red. Loved it so much, bought a terrible fork (rst something iirc) and went to dumfries for the weekend with car mates. Ride k tree, mabie and dalbeattie .totally hooked!

My shan is an amazing bike. I ran it with 26 inch wheels for a while before putting 650b on it. Its got quite a lot of vertical compliane but still very stiff laterally for cornering. Expensive but well worth it!

All other couriers round here are great and leave stuff with neighbours or in a garden box at the back of the house. Royal fail however always take it back to the depot so its a wait till a saturday then having to deal with mr mega grumpy at the sorting office. Worse if they take to the post office who are shut before 9 after 5 at lunch and all weekend bar saturday morning!!!

Other stuff? Thankfully i did get to hear f1 cars before they killed off the real engines but never heard a v12 in the flesh.

I have a forerunner 305 which is good for distance etc but its huge. and a vivoactive for everyday. Like the vivoactive, seems pretty accurate including step count ( at least in comparing days i know i walked a bit in conparison to days i didnt)

Both fully waterproof so can do swimming but indoors the 305 doesnt work as gps only…

Come up here and do the great glen way. Fine on a gravel bike as mostly fireroad. Got 7h21m to beat me! Train to fort bill. Cycle to inverness then train back to wherever you live.

Really second hand at that budget. Or even shock! a 26inch wheeled bike And getting a banshee under 30 lbs might be a big ask!.
