I have done all my forks. If they are a little older you can see the non faded parts where the old stickers were… very useful!

Yes. Am trying to post piccies but photobucket is broken. I did a tandem in turkey off a very large hill. Hit 60 mph during 1 spiral which was great, could really feel the g force. Instructor said a lot of people felt sick during it so i would do a couple of tandems to ensure you get on ok before lessons. Good fun and felt safe but obviously a lot can go wrong

driving since 1995. many company cars and I like the faster ones.. stages where I had a company car but we also owned one at home which was “fun”

Ford Orion 1.6 Ghia Diesel – first car, rust bucket, slow but full of toys!
Ford Fiesta 1.0, changed engine for a 1.3 with webber carbs, alloys and lowering springs
Ford Orion 1.6i Ghia in Brown!- basically an xr3i with a boot, loved it!
Ford Orion 1.6 Automatic– horrific pile of poop I had to get when the engine in the Orion went pop, ditched soon after..
Mk3 RS 1600i Escort. What a car, stolen and trashed :( worth £££ if I had it now
Mini 1.3 British Open Classic -what a car! (mate still has it in his garage)
Ford Ka Collection (this is where it all went wrong) first new car, bought to drive nearly 100 miles a day
Some random 206 – first company car, elephant bum dashboard is all I can remember
Polo 1.9 GTD – first nice company car
MG ZR – modified beyond belief, lowered, full stainless engine bay etc.
Renaultsport Clio 172 Phase 2 best car I owned bar the RS
Toyota Avensis ts- next company car, big, comfy, not at all sporty..
Totyta celica 1.7vvti lovely but very plasticcy
Audi S3 Quattro – best company car ever, but 20mpg…
Mr2 Roadster – great car, but a truck nearly wrote it off(then Mrs Muz did it properly in the snow)
Scirocco Diesel – looked so good but really uncomfy -co car
Audi A3 Quattro Diesel, in STW favourite White with black roof… co car
Lexus is 300h F sport, present car, wonderful, smooth, fast, efficient (hybrid) cheap to run and tax etc. co car and again in white to please the STW massive
Mazda 3 Sport current Mrs Muz car that I pay for…

About a year ago we started seeing o&g workers trying to get into consulting engineering. The overinflated salary expectations were unbeliveable (2 years post grad looking for 40k thats 25k in real jobs). But the biggest problem is transferable skills and general reluctance of companies to retrain people with loads of experience. Feel sorry for a lot of people affected tbh.

Before i bought my nomad i rode a canyon strive. Loved it. Thought it was awesome. I demoed about 10 bikes when looking to change and realised it was better than some (alpine 160 urg!) but miles behind the santa cruz and nothing felt as good as the nomad. It was like the strive had its brakes on in comparison and all my mates who had a go thought the same. Thankfully i got an ex demo as I would be divorced and still paying for it if i bought new!

That reign 2 for 1500 is amazing value. Its a bit heavy but an xt casette and expander to make it 1×10 would take off a fair bit. I have owned 2 maestro equiped bikes and both have been excellent (trance and anthem)

I was in this position earlier this year. Looked at strive, radon etc.from germany and ended up getting an ex demo Nomad as nothing rode as well! Keep checking the sc website as ex demo.bikes come up.

Depends on how competent a rider you are. The red is basically shut for forestry ops but you can get to all the awesome ews stuff if you like it steep. Blue is all open and fun if you just want some easy excercise. Oh and take a change of clothing its bloody muddy!

We got some great richardson sheffields in a local factory stock place. Set of 5 for just over 100. Wickedly sharp, balanced and look quite understated. Spent a lot of my early life working/helping run restaurants and most chefs felt balance was one of the biggest factors in a good knife.

Thansk but I must be explaining myself wrong. I am replacing the sky router with the new netgear one not adding a second router?
