Nevis is over 2 hours from ll and very snowy. I wouldnt recommend at all if you are not a seasonsed climber. Still some white stuff on lomomd too. The oak tree has rooms at ll and its highly reccomended but if you want to climb a hill conic gives you great views of the loch and its very straightforward to climb being all paths.

You can do it online. You need to get a reg for your current car before you transfer the plate over

You need a different brake bracket adaptor. My shan came with both 650b and 26 dropouts and needed to come with one for each wheel size

I did the slabs for my greenhouse(6×12 massive fecker) and (custom 12 x4 to fit in a space) shed. It was horrific. I am pretty handy and do most building/diy stuff myself but you dont know pain till you lift a 3×2 slab, which is the best park of 100kg for the 10th time as it just wont level.

Not much round loch lomond but ben lomond itself is an epic ride. Trossachs has loads of natural steep off piste. The thing to get your head round is you can ride anywhere with our access laws so any hill could be a goldmine.

Stirling. Better still causewayhead or bridge of allan which are just beside . Lovely area and right on the m9 so glasgow / edinburgh/ dundee under an hour outwith rush hour so great for work. Some of the best biking in the uk is with 2 hours and the local stuff is awesome. You tube dumyat or north third/n3 for an idea… (Maybe a bit biased as i live in Causewayhead) ps bite east does good jap food and waitrose is in the centre if thats your thing.

Loved it. Big fan of tom which helps. I also laughed at the list, it was such a silly mix. Ak47 or a f22? I will take both…

I went with the lexus because

    looked best
    best interior
best customer service – audi were ok, bmw = total ****
109co2 but 2.5l petrol engine with north of 200bhp
    45mpg
    best to drive (gearbox aside)
loads of standard toys(digital dash is awesome) – only option I ticked was fancy paint

    looks like this

I had issues with the shock itself. Felt like there was a clunk/wobble from bearings part way through the stroke but only on descend setting. Thought bearings/shock mounts but turned out its a vivid air fault and i got a new one in warranty. 2015 carbon.

I hope you manage to get through this, we are expecting our first in June ( after a couple of horrific miscarriages) and I fear my Mrs will be a bit like this due to the last couple of years. I can offer little advice bar try to (like all arguments) reach some level of compromise that satisfies her and keeps you sane.

we had 2 friends who unfortunately both went like this with having kids, she was a Masters Qualified HR professional and he was a PhD in Science who worked for a pharma company for petes sake, both clever, rational people

They now are only homeschooling, home birthed (1 hour from a hospital) don’t use SOAP!!, only drink purified water out of glass bottles or mainly drink from springs, ant vac, breastfeeding when the kid is 4, don’t own a TV, still sleep with the kid, forage for food etc. Its a bizarre thing to see and they have become really separate from our group of friends but they (seem) happy…
(an he still works for said pharma co..)
