Damn it – I’d have given £550 for the Yeti (not paying for the shipping from HK mind you…) 😉

I’m in but only on the promise of seeing a real live Bonty in it’s steely flesh…

Elliptic, will the pace be suitable for Ise?

Frame just not Violently Green enough for my tastes.

What is the word “racing” doing on your bike? You NEVER race anyone anywhere ;o#.

Cranks are (probably) 170mm and for your (ahem) stature 165mm would be generous.

Bike is still in Somerset and needs to be closer to Lakes ASAP.

The very best of luck with the Fred Whitton.

Sorry to hear of your injury…but…

Is that Dyfi entry gone yet?

Clubber – Yet both 9 speed and 10 speed talk about 1:1 cable actuation ratios? So, as the amount of cable pulled is decided by the shifter and not the mech why doesn’t it work?

David – do you still believe in the tooth fairy?

I believe elliptic’s other name if figgy – but then I also believe that eating ona ride is cheating.

I bought the Savvies one from Amazon £2.50 and seems to do the job, but perhaps not as “substantial” as the ones I bough far more cheaply for my phone. Has anyone tried the more expensive Vikuiti ones they sell?

Reliable lights – Tiger Lights (we have had 10 sets out each Thursday for the last 12 months and suffered no failures)

Tested to ensure that thermal pathways etc are not a problem – Tigers. (The manufacturer is basically a boffin perfectionist)

Mark Up – Not much as he has specified much of the kit rather than assembling stock bits and pieces (like some others) to ensure that they work properly.

It hurts to pay £250 for a light but it is worth it.

I don’t need to post them to you – the organisers are happy that if I email the new entrant details they can make the transfer.

As for the money I’m after a minimum £30 donation per space (as its for charity…) to this chap
