I’ve got an S3 on one of my bikes and it’s great, a full winter of grime and no complaints.

Need another for the pitch as the OE one is a bit dodgy to say the least

All kind of dependson what feels comfortable.

I’ve cut about 10mm of each end of my Sunline V2 bars on the pitch and left the Race Face Atlas AM ones as they came on my Handjob

Strange thing is a few years ago when I knackered my reight wrist I had to learn to all sorts of everyday things left handed, and from then on I’ve become more ambidextrious, even got alot better using my left foot while playing footie

mboy – I need a 200×57 one, so thanks for the offer.

chakaping – the DHX is cheaper at Mojo in their clearance sale, so thats why I’m thinking about it, it’s gotta be better than the X-Fusion 0-R thats on there at the mo!!

What about one of those Morewood 4″ travel thingies?

Or dare I say it a Pitch?

Stumpy is more of a long travel XC / light trail bike me thinks, wouldn’t say it’d like big drops too much

Either fill them with a flexible filler such as caulk or………

Contact Kevin Mcloud (?) off Grand Designs and say that due to excessive dryness of the atmosphere where you live you’re going to build a sub aquatic mansion from wattle n’ daub, wiht a thatched roof, also you’re partner is preggers and is due bang on dead line day for the build and your budget is “only £371,000.96” and you WILL hit it.

1800 quid a year return only works out at 247 years to make your money back, assuming that there are no other bills in the mean time!!

To be honest I liked how it looked, but still not overly sure of how stable it’ll be.

What happens if the air/poo smell recycling unit packs up when they’re asleep, as the house is “air tight” wouldn’t the CO levels go up rather rapidly or is the space too big for it to matter?

I’d love it if he had this mego eco-friendly giving back house and a Range Rover Vogue with a V8 petrol engine parked out back

I’ve got the ’09 Hope Vision 2’s with the normal battery.

They’re great to be honest, more than enough for trail riding at night.

Run times, you’re looking at just under 2 hours on full whack, but over 4 hours on the next level down, which is hardly any differnece to full whack out there on the trail.

As for runnign out they fade a bit then kindof go into a semi-flash mode which is about enuff to get you home so to speak.

I’ve got an XT on my Hope Hoops and a LX on my Mavic 321’s/Deore Hubs and to be honest I can hardly tell the difference, theonly real issue bar the free hub thingy is the XT is easier to clean.

Do Hope recommed a carrier style cassette on Pro II hubs?

An even better example of customer service comes from a few years ago, I was into the Japanese Car scene, ordered a pair of strut braces froma distributor in Japan on a Saturday, they arrived (bearing in mind that if you order almost anything in the UK on a Saturday they won’t proces it ’till Monday am) and it arrived Wednesday morning at my front door.

THe best part is it was in Royal Mail in Birmingham on Monday Morning, it then took 2 days from there!!

Ahh that’ll explain it as all the printers/plotters in the office are of the HP variety

I fancied white rims on my Pitch Comp, but went with Hope Hoops as they were silly cheap when I got them (£210!!)

How easy is it to fit new hoops to the existing set up?

Personally I loved it when I rode the North Loop in October last year (I was on holiday up there at the time).

Regarding slippy roots etc, you can only make something so safe before it comes boring.

The last descent os great, I like the bump things just enough to get some air time and not too much to make you think “Thats a bloody big drop to the side”

On another note has anyone signed up for the whinlatter challenge thingy ?

Oooh what bike to take, what a conumdrum.

I know I always take my Pitch when I’m plannign on doing anything that’s either techy red of black and take the handjob if I’m going for a quick blast round a red that isn’t too techy like Llandegla

I too had this dilema when buying a new crankset for my HT build,

I’m 5’11” with a 32 1/2″ inside leg and fitted 170mm cranks and they feel just fine and dandy
