low quality Glasgow chips became more appealing.

So what’s better the above, or a low quality edinburger?

    Don’t do it!

I got sentenced to 18-months prison for downloading my favourite artists to listen to.

    Just not worth it.

You can open the batteries and replace/re-solder in some new cells, and cheaply.

Debt was down to 28% of GDP with a surplus of £6 billion by 1990.

Er, North sea oil would’nt have helped any then?
Or was that just used to pay unempleyment benefit to the miners and steelworkers?

Or or, bankroll the yuppie culture?

    Tories = GREED!

She is getting there now thanks Ernie. Finally found a good doctor up in Forres who has helped heaps!

That’s good news, as alot of docs disregard it as a serious illness. Nice to know there are docs willing to look beyond the 10-day course of anti-biotics.

So Danny hart’s win in the mud last year was boring?
Each to their own, but the majority of mtb’ers like watching DH.

    I currently use a 2010 NV200 1.5 diesel
    It’s quite nippy for a 1.5 engine.
We also have a bench seat(with fitted seatbelts seats 3) which can be fitted/removed in under 5 minutes, though it is quite heavy. The bench seat is available as an add-on for £875.
The van has been very reliable, pulls a bike trailer(holds 20bikes) no bother.
It’s a good effort from nissan totally new with no input from renault unreliability.

We have both shimano and sram on our hire bikes, and I must say shimano has been consistently better.
The main problems with sram are sticky shifters, dodgy/poor return springs on rear derailleurs, and extra difficulty when changing gear cables on X9 and above.

It’s a real bugger that they stop the Glasgow to Geneva Easyjet flight in summer

Never taken a bike on flight before, does anyone know if a bikebag/similar is a must?

That’s a few highland estates going bankrupt then. I’ll blame you when the deer population is further out of control and the resultant over-grazing denudes the land of the last vestiges of natural woodland.

But what if the guns were all kept on the estate, and only released to visiting parties?

    Ask yourself this!
If after hungerford, all hobbyist types were banned from keeping guns. Would Hamilton have been able to kill so many at dunblane?
I believe he would’nt have, and if just one of those ‘dead children’ could have been saved by a ban, then a ban would be right and justified.

(Elfinsafety) It’s not actually a ‘problem’; I am quite happy and content being right.

FFS, would someone PLEASE reel in the effiner?
He’s been played for far to long now!
Time to reel him in and be chapped on the head.

Excellent to see that the Law relating to ‘reasonable force’ has bin applied effectively in this case, and Justice has bin served.

Violent scum getting what they deserve; losing their livelihoods.

Good luck down the dole office lads!

Being violent is part of human nature, no amount of education will ever curb violent behaviour.
Oh! an while you spout yer do-gooder nonsense, what about the old grannie hitting the junkie(who stole her handbag) on the head with her umbrella, should she be charged for violent behaviour?

It would be funny if big man was not charged and fare dodger got done, I suspect that would be a great outcome for common sense.

Unfortunately, this country is shallow on the good stuff, hence big-man being charged.

No violence was offered by the lad or the conductor, but was by the big man,

So Project? If you are saying the big man was being violent! What is the limit of using reasonable force to eject an undesirable??

The youth was told by the ticket inspector to leave the train, he refused this and responded with verbal abuse.
This then made him an ‘undesirable'(should be in terms and conditions booklet)and as such, the undesirable can be ejected(using reasonable force) from public transport.
The fact the undesirable put up resistence to being removed, caused him to get a little scratch.
The big guy did not throw punches or kick the undesirable, so what is the limit of reasonable force?

I bought this last month, and has been brilliant(especially usb playback of divx, hd-files etc.)

But I’ve had Toshiba in the past, and at that price buy the one reccommended by samurai.
Toshiba are very reliable, but the LG does come with a 3yr manufacturer warranty.

    Yes all good when new.
Had a goretex paclite, then endura mt500.
Both awesome to start with, now only used for the odd shower.
    Prolonged rain and they fail*

If taking out the nuclear weapons of a rogue state is the way to do it, then fair enough. I don’t have a problem with that.

Just like they took all the weapons of mass destruction out of Iraq?
Oh! What was that? There were none?

I’ve been maintaining a fleet of over 20 ‘Haro flightline expert’ mtb’s over the last two years.
They are all fitted with shimano deore hydraulic disc brakes.
At the beginning, at least half the brakesets were replaced under warranty for contaminated pads.
And slowy since then the others and some replacement brakes have all become leakers.
It is impossible to actually see them leak, but the munute amount of fluid that makes it past the ‘piston seals’ renders the pads useless.

    Squeeeeeellllll on!

I would say it’s a good bit more than 400-lumen.
I was out last night, and my mate had his ‘NiteRider Pro 600’.
The dx 1200 was noticably brighter, i’d estimate it to be around the 800-900 mark.
I was using an old p7 torch on the bars and had the dx 1200 mounted to helmet(blown away I was).
The troutie liberator must be quite something being much more lumens than the new bastid(would like to see it in the flesh).
