its a good question, not much. Hi hearing has gone and he never wears his hearing aids, he has diabetes so sweets are olut, half his foot was amputated a few years back so walking is out…

it is a nightmare…at this rate he’ll be getting a pompino frame & forks!!!

    my dad is a nightmare,

87 retired master mariner, no hobbies, no interests, doesn’t watch TV, doesn’t read, doesn’t drink..

All presents for the last 40 years are in his wardrobe boxed and unused…

Thinking about sneaking in, taking some presents from a few years back and giving them to him again.

Thing his he gets a bit sulky if he doesn’t get a massive pile of pressies…

    absolute nightmare..

I always use parcel monkey or parcel 2 go.

Think as long as you get the box under about 32cm it will only cost about £15 for upto 30kg

did one on an Altea, not too bad, if you get the right harness for Auto leads, and a set of plastic trim removal tools it makes the job much easier.

An afternoons work, top tips would be check the forums for Seat to find where the clips etc are, if you have to remove the glove box, don’t unplug the airbag unles syou have the battery disconnected,
    other than that pretty straightforwa

where are you fused? I have T8-T12 fused and i ride a 19.5″ scandal with a 60mm stem and find it fine. Pre fusing I liked a longer stretched out position but as my stiff bit (!) is between my shoulder blades i find a stretch is too uncomfortable now…

Used to ride a 20″ inbred but changed to a scandal which i thin translates to the smaller inbred>??>

I guess it all depnds where and how much is fused?

How are you fused too? mine is metal work and a cage, dunno if that makes a diffrence

    http://www.booking.com/hotels/hotel/es/barcelona/hostal-boqueria.html?sid=000935acf2d5e28ce431d2febcada22f

this is basic and the rooms are all the same size with differing numbers of beds in, but you will only need it for a base and a few hours kip right? On the ramblas so pretty much in the centre of it all, just watch out for the saucy ladies trying to feel you up but really lifting your wallet and phone…

Can’t find the link to the chopper hire there is one called fattire but not sure it was that one, we had proper low riders, choppers etc, and we even had a race, great fun..

barcelona, we managed to do it quite cheap flew ryan air to girona (laughably called barcelona by Ryan Air!) stayed in a hostel on the ramblas, took in a barcelona game, rode chopper bikes (push bikes) round the sites with a guide (£50 i think) and had a generally good time…

I read about Scud’s pestered him a bit then copied what he did…

New raw 29er, slackset, 120mm forks, absolutely love it, seems much more nimble than my steel inbred 29er and feels much livlier..

Absolutely love it..few issues with the hose clips being in odd places and far too many of them but one its built well worth it..

looks like very nice bike, love the raw/ fillet mix but for me it was outshone at Bespoked by Tim March’s 26er, built to wheelie as the man himself said…

A “mid life crisis bike” if ever there was one…Just a shame I cannot find any way to buy one…no reply from Curtis on emails…and can find no sign of it on tinterweb…

parcelmonkey.co.uk , as long as it stays under 20kgs it will be £7.50 + vat + insurance which works out at roughly £11 overnight.

Really easy and if you pack carefully you can send a bike for this price too…

the 2.5 in a T4 is a totally different engine to the 2.5 in the T5

    Steelsreal

the T5 2.5 has a “maintenance free” drivetrain, no belts or chains..

    http://pierro777.free.fr/DOCVAG/2.5_TDI.pdf

shows loads of info on the engine…

Thers is a “freewheel” and an elastic drive that should be changed every 100k and is the same sort of price as a cambelt change £400-600

PF, many thanks for your input, I do consider myself “intelligent” and I work with contracts and things as a day job so fairly confident I can get my articles and mem right.

As the company is straightforward, two fo us and a 50-50 split I think we may be okay. Going to spend the evening researching all this and may be back tomororow for some sanity checking if you don’t mind…

Just been looking at the detail and http://www.startups.co.uk has some very useful guides about addresses, costs etc..

As I am in no hurry, it would appear that with a bit of effort and £20 it can be done quite easily.

    Fill in Form IN01
    Create some articles of association
    Create a memo of association

doesn’t look too bad at all…
