    had the luger, loved it though my favourite was a machine pistol with silemver and removable shoulder rest that came in a natty cardboard brief caseā€¦I, too date, have not murdered anyone.

    black widows were great but we found a roll of lead flashing on a garage roof and used my mates mums saucepan to melt it and the little hole on pair of pliers as a mould. that was a bit dodgy test firing it against a garage door and it went clean through!

    we reverted to bendy sticks and bits of clay on the end after that, pugging as we referred to it in Hampshire!

    just for reference hereā€™s a poor video, there were two people in these one driver at the front and a gunner in the 360 swivelling turret shooting foam tennis balls at each other. Spectators also shot at each otherā€¦

    i have a snabb T1 of 2016 and its brilliant, rids nice, and wen someone decided to try and steal it by removing pivot bolts (interesting ride home!) emailed them and they sent me a set foc with a load of stickers.

    Pondered updating it but instead upgraded wheels and forks now on 1Ɨ11 and considering a repaint

    having moved to cornwall a year or so ago there is a lot of terrible riding but also a lot of good riding if you look in the less obvious places. On that five day tour the wadebridge to charlestown is quite nice, charlestown to truro misses some nice bits, i would go Caerhayes, portholland, port loe, portscatho, st anthonys head, ferry over to falmouth then head up to devoran to pick up the mineral tram way over to porthleven.

    Sympathies to all on this one, lost both parents in quick succession, found the whole thing quite an unusual experience, literally like having the rug pulled from under you and a level of ā€œsecurityā€ disappearing that is hard to explain.

    As others have said grieve, cry get upset, talk to those close to you and remember all the good stuff. Welling up writing thatā€¦.

    2011 managed to destroy a vertebrae with a camelbak lid after a unscheduled launch across a slope!

    Got stretchered off and that was about ā‚¬700 i think, followed by ā‚¬195 for an x ray. Then ā‚¬300 for the ambulance to grenoble.

    As soon as i got to hospital all they wanted was my ehic no insurance at all. One spinal fusion surgery, one spinal cage surgery and three week stay all done on ehic.

    travel insurance covered everything else including repatriation is a twin engine plane with peter the pilot and an ambulance from airport to home.

    i ordered an orbea in 2016 but delays meant i had to find something else.

    Long chat and several cups of tea with Denham at Dc cycles and I ended up with a snabb, admittedly itā€™s the 650 version but I absolutely love it, been a serial bike changer forever but now see no reason to change.

    So NS for me, I like the fact no one knows what it is, Matt black frame with gloss black logos and the odd gold bit ā˜ŗ

    Was thinking where do they all go, been lots of high value high volume of bikes stolen over the last few years.with no sign ever again.

    So where do they go the documents have to monetise them and gumtree or cash converters is not going to happen.

    So which market would they go to?

    Airlines will not ship lithium ion batteries in the hold of a passenger plane.

    Acceptable as hand baggage of under 300wH which I image most ebikes exceed.

    When I worked with electric mobility conversions we did a special ā€œflightā€ battery at 288wh.

    had the same issue with my original Swift, shame really as it did what i wanted (ie worked!) Sent it back to WF for repair and they returned it saying it cannot be fixed.

    Replaced it with a swift 2x and although initially seemed okay, it struggles with connecting to my car, Android Auto will not work at all and it will just reset every now and again and takes an absolute age to reboot.

    Did not know they had gone bust so in the same boat. Have an iphone for work and annoyingly it does just work but do not want to spend that much on a phone, Ā£150 would be ideal????

    so i am in a similar quandry, have a reasonable house in a good area for schools quiet cul de sac etc and have asked two proper agents round;

    agent 1 ā€“ local independent, quite pessimistivc about the market price my house at Ā£360k, reckoned it would be about six weeks to sell. 1% plus vat 6 week lock in.

    agent 2 ā€“ national brand, quite sales oriented gave me the whole spiel on selling the house his team, doing an open day to generate interest and get competing bidders. Priced house at Ā£375k hoping to sell anything above Ā£350k but had lots of examples of houses sold for asking price. Had to pay Ā£150 for photos and EPC refundable when house sells. on top of that fee wasĀ  whopping Ā£7250 inc vat, and standard they look for a 26 week lock in.

    So, like the idea of the open day and the second one sounded more like he would get it sold. Should i negotiate the price and try for something like Ā£5k with 10 week lock inā€¦.

    funnily enough they provide the solicitors and reading some reviews it looks like they get 90% there and then start lowering the priceā€¦think iā€™ll stick with the traditional methodsā€¦.

    just got a 111cdi 2008 dualiner auto. Really like it but had a few teething issues so look out for;

    Rear wipers have an issue where water from the washer jet which goes through the spindle get in and sits there and seizes the mechanism. Ā£65 motor off ebay and an hour of fetlling sorted that. You can get a rebuild kit but my armature had fallen out! There is a workaround of drilling a couple of holes for drainage.

    Heater fan only worked on 5. There is a resistor pack that goes. Ā£25 off ebay and 15 minutes got that sorted.

    Auto had a small leak at the electrical connector. I got the oil and filter changed with a new connector for Ā£240.

    The suspension was a bit clonky, the van is lowered on H&R springs, drop links f&r sorted that cost about Ā£60.

    Try and get the rear comfort seats, fold better and also recline šŸ™‚
